What would you do the Fri & Sat after T-Day??

I'm still struggling with Sat after T-Day. Should I keep FOTL and stay onsite? Or bag it stay somewhere cheaper and just go on monday? I should say I have never been before and have 2 kids one is 5 and one is 11 and in a wheelchair. I have asked before but still lost. I already have reservations for both. Need to cancel 1 of them. Thank you VERY much..

Personally, I'd stay onsite then if you get tired, it is easy to go back to the hotel and rest. Plus the park should be open later on the Saturday after Thanksgiving than on Monday.

Actually, we would be staying Fri night. Our timeshare starts on Sat. Couldn't refuse. it was free... :goodvibes

Well, you wouldn't be able to go back to the hotel to rest but you would still have front of the line privileges all day Saturday.

so...Sat after TDay w/ FOTL or Monday w/o? I also can't do commando. I hate to waste Sat doing nothing. Hey, thanks for trying tp help

really? I'm suprised. But I've never been so I have no clue. I guess I might be able to get in both parks with FOTL? Hopefully.

You will love FOTL. Think of it as an all day fastpass from Disney, without a specific return time. You will be able to hit the highlights of both parks without doing commando but I would seriously consider doing the parks in two days: on Saturday with FOTL and then Sunday or Monday without. Sunday isn't too bad after Thanksgiving but Monday is better, if you don't have FOTL.

It's really hard to enjoy both parks if you are trying to do it in one day.

I happened to hop over to another board and low and behold there you were... lol A resident authority. I saw Metro with tickets prices, still 69.99 for 2 parks/1day? (Adult?) I also checked AAA for 2 day and 2 park prices. Trying to figure out what to do. If I end up doing 2 days I'll use the Mastercard special. Hey, thanks again for helping..

:cool1: Yeah, I get around.

That's good to know. I didn't think they were available anywhere but at the gates. I checked ticketmania and the Universal website and couldn't find the 1 day/2 park so I assumed it was only available at the gate.

I also checked AAA for 2 day and 2 park prices. Trying to figure out what to do. If I end up doing 2 days I'll use the Mastercard special. Hey, thanks again for helping..

With the mastercard special you also get a discount coupon booklet with many restaurants at Universal. They also have a special where if you buy a 2 day/2 park ticket, you can add a third day free once you get to the parks.

I think they were gate only prices. Is Margaritiville in that coupon book? They give you a 3rd day free? Does that expire? You should see the numbers I have written down for all my different options. scary... Its a good thing I have time. Ü

I think it might be for a drink at Margaritaville but I can find out this week, if you'd like.

There are the ones I know of for sure:
At US there are 15% off coupons for food at Finnegans, Lombards, Capt. Quints and Int'l food fest. At IOA, 15% off at Confisco, Mythos, Comic Strip Cafe and IOA merchandise. At CityWalk, you get all sorts of discounts on food and merchandise, a couple of free beverages. Also, 10% off lunch at Jakes or Island Dining at RPH, a free wine or appetizer at a couple of the PBH restautants, and 15% lunch at the Kitchen/HRH.

When you buy the 2 day/2 park ticket it has no expiration. If you add the 3rd day free then all three days must be used within a week of the first use of ticket and it does expire. It costs more that the bonus pass (which is 5 days for the price of 2) but the 5 day passes expires on the 5th day. The 5 day can only be orderd online though and comes with a coupon book.

I know this is probably confusing. The problem is this: Universal has some specials that they only offer at the gate such as 1 day/2park and 2 day/2 park with 3rd day free. And they offer some other specials only online such as the 5 day bonus pass.

No thats ok, don't go out of your way. I am thinking 2/2 without expiration. I think thats Mastercard also. Now I just have to decide Sat or Mon... lol I have a 5yr old and 11 yr old very handicapped. I would hate to deal with crazy crowds, but I like FOTL. Here I go again...
