What would you do - school trip question

Is there a way you can tag along?

I wouldn't FORCE him to go. Most schools offer an alternative to attending a field trip. No reason to screw up his attendence because he wants to opt out. They may have him "assist" in a lower class. It's a good confidence builder.

I agree with the other posts that there is probably some underlying reason for his hesitation about the field trip. But, I wouldn't FORCE him to talk about it. Yet. Let him know you are available to talk to if he wants to talk about it further. Don't make too big a deal out of it, or he might start fretting that he is not "acting" like he should.

Parenting is an adventure. Enjoy the ride.:yo-yo:
