what would you do opinions please...

heres the problem...We have ressies for 0ct 9-16 for our 25th annicersary (which is the 13th)
but now Im having second thougts with Mon being Columbus Day
and also Im not having much luck getting decent air.

first of all how are the crowds over CD
would it make sense to add a couple of days to the end say book till 10-19 and if I get a decent air maybe drop a few days from the beginning
so instead of going 10-9 thru16 go from 1012 thru 19

that way were clear of Columbus day and get decent air

then I would call and cancel the 9th 10th 11th does this make sense?

such problems!!!

I hear what you're saying. I think it makes sense to delay to stay away from the holiday. Anybody else with actual Columbus day experience?

Our 96 and 01 vacations started w/the Columbus Day holiday. I have read that it's busier now.
So we changed our dates from 9-16 to 2-8

we went last year over Columbus Day - it was BUSY!!! Very busy. Test Track was out of Fastpass by noon, Mission Space same way. Waits for these 2 well over 2 hours.

MGM - ToT wait was 3 hours, RNR was 2 hours.

AK was wall to wall people.

MK was also packed.

However, we are going again this Columbus Day. When your kids are in school, you have to go when they are out, and we refuse to go in the heat of the summer.

We loved it no matter the crowds.
