What would you do? Keep the split stay or take a risk to try for one resort?

Here's my situation, I am currently booked for 7 nights in a studio at the end of May (Monday - Monday). Nights 1-3 I am at BCV and 4-7 at AKV. We like both resorts, but I would now like to stay at BCV the whole time if I could. Nights 4 and 7 are not available, but 5-6 are. If I went ahead and booked nights 5-6 do you think my chances would be good that a single night (a Thursday at the end of May) would come available for a waitlist to catch it? Or would there be a good probability that I would end up stuck with 4 reservations for this 7 night stay (nights 1-3, night 4, nights 5-6, night 7).

I know that you can never know, but with 4 months till this trip what do yall think the chances are for that single night waitlist to come through? (of course I'd have to waitlist night 7 as well, but if I had to move for the last night it wouldn't be too bad, I just wouldn't want to move 3 times for a 7 night stay).

Take the chance. It's easier to fill one night with wait list.

The chances are good.

I'm going spring break...which was only 3 months out......availability for my week was slim...nothing was available until the day we left.


I had to switch from 1br at GFV ( so someone got real lucky because I cancelled the entire 4 nights there) to a 2 br somewhere. I own at BLT and BW so they were my first choice .. OKW and SRR had the 2 br and maybe AKV too, but no one else had them.

At the BLT there are 6 categories of 2 brs. SIX....at BW 3. And in order to get a 2 br a studio and a 1 br needed to free up.......next to impossible.

2 days into my search....now I was on the website all the time like 7-10 times a day.... I needed 4 nights ...sun, mon, tues and wed......I found Monday and Tuesday at the BLT lake view...yeah......so now I was looking for Sunday and Wednesday.........

2 days later found Sunday........it was a lock off and the other was a dedicated.....argghhh. But MS performed some kind of magic and linked them together. So now I had 3 out of 4 but the 4 th night had to be a dedicated one......six categories and I had to find one.......searching night and day 7-10 times a day and then 10 days later I got it....yahoo.

Called ms to link them again. Each time I called ms it was 1 hour.

May is a slower time so the chances are really good you'll get it but you need to check constantly. Good luck and here is some

So I decided to take the chance, especially since when I looked tonight, night 7 was available as well, so now I'm only missing night 4. I set up the wait list and now I'll just wait and see!
