Well, there are sooo many ways of looking at this. Many spouses have to be separated due to the military for very extended periods of time. They manage. People lose their children, parents and close friends to death and that's for the rest of their lives. They manage. Sooo....2 weeks doesn't sound too bad to me. You'll make it.

My SO was on the other side of the country for 3 weeks in January. We have never been apart for that long. Even though I could talk to him on the phone, it was still very difficult. We were in the middle of him adopting my dd, and I was having to take care of everything with the attorney while he was settling his dad's estate. It was difficult, and I have sworn if we can help it, we will never be apart like that again.

You look at your fav pic of that person everynight before you sleep and hold it close to your heart. You think of them often and smile because you love that person and he/she makes you happy. You pray to whomever or whatever you believe in that that the time passes quickly and your loved one comes back safe and sound. You be thankful that the person is in your life and has made such an impact becayse it's obvious he/she is special.
