We will arrive at MCO at 6:30pm at the end of August. We want to see Universal for 2 days before going to Disney.
I have booked RPR with a AAA rate for two nights ($450 total).
We can save $135 by staying at the Doubletree on our arrival night before switching to RPR (for the onsite perks). However, that would mean switching hotels every day for 3 days straight (Doubletree, RPR, Disney).
Bad idea? Good idea?
It will be 2 adults and an 8 year old Harry Potter NUT.

Then we move over to POP Century for a week. So, I totally understand with not wanting to move but it seems like the savings are worth it, especially if you won't be able to take advantage of the onsite perks the first day.

....I'd prefer to check into RPR. Relax for the evening and enjoy their pool, have a good nights rest and then get up refreshed for early entry. It would be worth the money to me. Vacations to me are about fun and making the most of my holiday.
