I currently have BOG BF 8:35 am and BOG lunch 10:35am reservations. I of course am not going to do both. The day we are going park opens at 9am and currently we have my daughters first haircut schedule for 9am. I was excited about the early cut at first because we get in a little before it opens and I thought it would be cool to walk down mainstreet pretty empty, but then I realized we will be tied up during park opening so we might miss a good chance to get on rides quick. If we do BOG BF we would still get in early. How long does BOG breakfast take? What should I do? Looking for some opinions on what you would do?

Try to change the haircut later in the day and do the breakfast BOG?
Keep 9 am haircut and do BOG lunch 10:35am?
Forget BOG because it is kinda filling up our morning magic kingdom time?

Are you going to eat lunch anyway? I would keep the lunch ADR, and get that first haircut at 9. Of course, it's up to you to decide if doing attractions in the park is more important than that haircut. Between the haircut and lunch, you'll miss most of the morning for attractions.

We have the dining plan and that day we are only planning to use two CS credits for each person. No TS meals that day. So either light snack BF then lunch and dinner or BF, lighter snack lunch, then dinner. The haircut is most important to me I guess, but if I could get it at a later time and still get in early for breakfast that sounds ok too. We are only going to be in parks two days for this trip so I guess I'm trying to make the most of our park time and I know being able to do attractions early in the morning is one of the best ways to do that.

I would try to get an afternoon haircut, when everyone would enjoy a break out of the heat and allowing the morning for touring. The breakfast menu doesn't really appeal to me, so I would prefer an early lunch and utilise my fast passes in the morning.

If the breakfast meal is not appealing to you, people in other threads have talked about getting a pre park opening reservation and just having coffee or coffee and a cupcake also.

Whatever you decide, have a magical vacation.

I'd probably still keep the BOG reservation, but change the time of the haircut since you're worried about losing morning touring time. You should still get out of BOG with time left to take advantage of short lines. It's hard to say how much time the haircut would take, whereas with BOG, you have some control over how long you're there.

Personally I don't think you're going to have enough time to both eat breakfast at 8:35 and get to the haircut by 9. You still have to get into the restaurant, order, and wait for your food to arrive, not to mention the actual eating part. Then you have to get back to the front of the park. Yeah I wouldn't try to do breakfast and then the 9am haircut. I have never done a pre park open dining reservation before. It seems some people swear by them.

Which would you keep? Lunch or Breakfast?

I would keep the breakfast, cancel the haircut and either try for an afternoon time for the haircut or walk up and wait. With that said, we LOVE lunch at BOG, but 10:30 seems crazy early to me. I think the BOG breakfast is a great way to get into the park early and get a head start on your touring. I think you'd be able to do the haircut in the afternoon with a reasonable wait (at a time when lines for rides might be getting pretty long).

I just called and was able to switch her haircut to 5pm. The last one of the day. I think I'm going to keep the BF at BOG so we can still get into the park early.

Try to get to the Park early. The CM's are not looking at times and then placing you in order, so you can check in for breakfast as if you had an 8:05 if you arre at the gates early enough. Also, be aware that Main Steet is no longer "empty", but it is quieter than at RD.

Pay attention to MK hours as you approach your trip. DIsney will sometimes open an hour early, so if the breakfast is to eat, no worries. If it is to jumpstart the crowds, you may miss some of the time.
