What would you do - 2 rooms or 1 concierge?

Okay I'd LOVE to stay in concierge (already have a ressie at BC concierge). But I'm thinking maybe I should switch to two standard rooms. There are 5 of us - 3 adults, 2 kids. I'm wondering how long it's going to take 3 of us to use the bathroom and get out of there in the mornings. I don't really relish waking up at 5:30am on my vacation just to get out of the room at a reasonable time! What would you do? We do plan to spend a fair amount of time at the resort in the afternoons relaxing, so we would be able to use concierge snacks, etc. But the idea of only 1 bathroom for 5 people.......

We are the opposite- two adults, three kids (teens) and we ended up with two rooms (moving into one for the last three nights after oldest leaves). The added benefit of more space and more importantly A SECOND BATH, far exceeds snacks in a lounge...you can go over to the Boardwalk general store to stock up on food/drinks (or stop at a store on your way from the airport). I have a feeling once we get used to the two rooms, I won't want to move into one, but I would NEVER do it the entire stay. I swore after staying at CR (and these rooms are huge) with five people, we'd never do it again (or you would have been reading about me on the front page of the local paper, lol).

Good luck!

I have to agree with LBYC-19. We went in July and decided to get two rooms. There is nothing like coming in from the part and both kids have to go badly at the same time. Two bathrooms is a beautigul thing. Not to mention having more room to spread out. We had connecting rooms and it truely was a blessing.

I wouldn't think twice about it, get the two rooms!

I pondered over the same thing! We have chosen to go with two rooms! I figure we can just get refillable mugs and stop at the quick service place to pick up some food, or get room service. :) I might even pick up a deli tray at the grocery store to snack on in the middle of the night! ;)

I would also get the 2 rooms. I guess 1 would be okay if you all shower fast and 1/2 of you shower at night and the others in the morning, but the fact that you're concerned shows that you should probably just get 2 rooms.

How about a 2 BR villa at BWVs? Then you will have 2 bathrooms(one with a large jacuzzi tub & seperate shower), 2 bedrooms, a living room, a washer & dryer, a full kitchen, a mini kitchenette with a microwave, refrig, sink and coffee maker and 1 large and 1 smaller balcony. This way you will have plenty of room to spread out and will have a kitchen and a kitchenette to have your own drinks, snacks, etc. Or if you want a huge villa go with a 2 BR villa at OKW, the only bad thing with OKW is the location is no where near as convenient as a Epcot resort location.

Get the two rooms.. it will make it easier even though we know how good the concierge rooms are.

Hi DeeP!

We tried the BWV option - nothing available for our dates. I guess with the renovations, they are ery tight on space end of April. OKW looks nice, but I think it is just a little too far removed for our family. If we went back to the room, I'd never get DH to leave again! LOL! He'd say it was too far/ too long of a bus ride. That's why I feel I have to have a good location.

But I guess the rest is unanimous - 2 rooms! I hate to give up my ressie for concierge, but I guess in the back of my mind I've had my doubts all along. The concierge will just have to wait for another time when its only the 4 of us. Gives me something to shoot for right!

Thanks for your help with my decision everyone!
