What would you change about WDW?

I'd make some of the people disappear. Make it less popular/less crowded.

I would bring back the attractions in my recent thread "What attractions do you miss." I think that's the title of the thread..close enough. Other than that list, here is what I would do if I were ruler of Disney:

I would have to agree with an earlier post. Give us a frequent "visitor" incentive program.

Epcot: I would stop closing pavillions @ Epcot because of no sponsor. And definitely stop telling guests that explanation because it makes me mad! I would bring back the original Epcot!!!! I wouild also remove the ridiculous "hand" and "Epcot" over Spaceship Earth. Leave it like it was...perfect!

MGM: I would remove the stupid giant hat that is in front of the Chinese Theatre, which was IMHO a perfect icon for MGM.

Animal Kingdom: I would add a nice, sit-down restaurant. Maybe Asian themed with a sushi bar! That would be perfect.

Magic Kingdom: Get rid of the stage and Cinderellabration. I don't want anything in the way of the castle.

Very interesting thread. By the way, I love EMH!

ITA!!!! I hate that stupid hat in MGM and the hand on the Epcot ball. It's too much Mickey... if such a thing is possible. I miss seeing the Chinese Theater as I walk down the main road.

Also, that empty room after Spaceship Earth that used to be the AT&T Community is positively ghostly now. Can't they do SOMETHING with that empty space?? Even a gift shop would be preferable.

I also agree with the previous posters who miss E Ride nights too. I went to evening EMH at MK once, and never again!!!! The waits were still 60+ minutes long, so what was the point???

make it free and in my backyard????

pamnc, i read darden is opening an asian inspired rest. in ak...you must know the right people :thumbsup2

That is exactly what I was thinking. Would it still be as magical though?

Bring back the OLD Epcot! I want FW to be the same as it was in 86!

then they'd have to rename it "past world"... ;)

i would bring back the old living sea cab/ "elevator" thought that was the best part and i think that's gone( was closed last few times we were there) and i liked the wonders of life pavilion

i'd stop having "seasonal" stuff..if it is not popular enough to have it open full time put something else in there

i don't know, lets do a trial period and see :rotfl2:

If money was no object...

1.Connect AK & AKL to the monorail system.

2.Bring back the Disney animation to Orlando

3.Re-instill Walt's original customer service practices that have faded over the years. (E.g. If someone asks you a question and as a CM you don't know, then politely say you don't know for sure rather than winging it or repeating a rumour you heard)

4.Imagineers, Imagineers, Imagineers! I love thrill rides but I would love to see some more rides done in the HM or POC mode...and not done on the CHEAP.

5.which reminds me...DITCH STICH!!! Well ok, he can stay a little bit.

6.Have different stores carry different items. You can keep some things common to all stores but some shops should have unique items to that store. Also, while not everything must be hi $$$, it would be nice to have some items of higher quality again.

7.Renew some of the countries in Epcot. The films in France & Canada & Norway are old and outdated. Plus, while we adore Mexico's El Rio del Tiempo it also could be updated a bit.

8.Maybe add a country or two (I believe there's room). How about Australia and Ireland.

9.Did I mention DITCH STICH yet?!

10.Food quality would be of utmost importance at all locations, no exceptions.(Well, ok it's pretty good most times and everyone has there bad days :teeth: )

11."Efficiency"...YES!, "On the CHEAP"...NO!

That's probably enough for just off the top of my head for now.

I would think make counter services cheaper, and connect all the parks via Monorail, include the water parks and downtown Disney in the loop!

If money is no object, why not make counter service free? :confused3

Add more rides and attractions (maybe another theme park) to help thin out the crowds, queues and wait times.

Some day Disney will have so much to do for everyone crowds may never be that much of an issue anymore.

Oh! Since we are asking for big ticket items, please extend the monorail to Disney MGM Studios and AK. It would only cost about 1 Billion dollars.

THE COFFEE SERVED WDW IS ATROCIUS! Thats the only thing I would change!

I would make WDW appoint me CEO and have the "apartment" in the castle ready for me to move into.!!!!!! :rotfl:

I wonder why they never did extend the monorail to go to every park? I agree it would be costly but they would make that money back in about 2 days :rotfl2:

All walkways in the World would be made out of that squishy foam composit stuff.

The streets & walkways throughout the parks would utilize those walking flat escalator type things you see in airports.

The bus waiting areas would all have benches.

Hamburgers would be on all the kid menus at all the restaurants

To put a stop to all the mug debates, a ticket could be purchased that would give you unlimited drinks anywhere and everywhere.

And I agree with the poster that said some unique quality merchandise would be nice. My best friend collects Cinderella and I had a heck of a time finding something nice (not cheesy) that wasn't $150. I finally stumbled on the store inside the castle and found a really nice crystal carving of Cinderella, & the Coach and Prince. It was $35, not crazy expensive but unique and nice. She loved it!

ITA!! Also, add more variety of food choices at the counter services. Same thing everywhere. :p

I would like more sit down breakfast choices in FW of EpCot... bring back the Land for b'fast! and I'd love to see the EpCot monorail extended over to MGM and then to AK. And I want the peacocks brought back to Ft Wilderness Campgrounds.

Thanks for the chance to vent! LOL

My main thing is stop expanding....

BUT...Keep upgrading old attractions, or replace with new QUALITY attractions.. Work on MGM PLEASE...lol
