OK, Friday was our 5th anniversary, and we planned on going down to DL Saturday, but DD woke with one of those unknown childhood fevers, so we put off our visit till next Saturday...
So, DH, not being a think-ahead kind of guy, just told me I can pick my anniversary present when we go to Disneyland...What to do, what to do? :smooth:
I usually don't get past looking at the usual "souvieneer" stuff for family members, (Its the only way to control myself. I can't buy what I don't know about!)
So my question is, if you were in my shoes, what would you pick?
And is there anything at the park that has particularly caught your eye?
And has anyone noticed any special 50th snowglobes?

Well, since it is an anniversary, why not pick something that you can add to later. (lol, I mean start a collection of something) They have beautiful figurines of the characters, they have limited edition art. Some of the large plates of the characters like Alice in Wonderland are fabulous.
For our 20th we bought DVC, the Disney vacation club. You could always look into that!
(Your husband is not going to thank me for these suggestions, as you'll find you just keep adding and adding and ...)

Have a great time at Disneyland!

I once purchased a drawing of Tink from the art store next to the animation building in Ca Adventure and had it personalized. It is the mad Tink and I had the artist write Believe! and she put dh, dd and my names and the date at the bottom. You could pick something like Lady and the Tramp or another "romantic" picture and have the artist personalize it with your anniversary date and names or something like that. :love2:

The Disneyana store has some neat jewelry as does the jewelry store on Main Street. Real stuff not just costume... I saw a "Golden glittery" pair of Disney Ears there yesterday for $15,000.00 ;) :earseek:

If you are interested in snow globes the the store at the far end of Main Street (sorry don't know shop names), right between the glass blowing shop & the photo shop has a nice selection of collectible snow globes.

I went with the big figure:

The detail is AMAZING. If you look inside, it actually has the doors and the drawbridge wheel that you see while walking throught the castle. Its sparkly, it light up, and it plays "When you wish upon a star"
Well, it was a little out of budget, (but not with my AP discount!!!!)

Wow! What a fabulous anniversary gift. It is beautiful!
BTW, congratulations!!

It is beautiful! Good choice! Everytime you walk by it, it will make you feel all disneyish and smilie and happy!!
:goodvibes
