We're currently scheduled to be at BWV for 2 nights 12-23 through 12-25 before joining family members at VWL on the 25th. I've been thinking about switching to VB for a more relaxing time. My fear would be that being away from home at Xmas, it might be better to be around the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. Anyone ever experienced Vero at Xmas?

I visited on 12/26 one year....the decorations are beautiful.

There were carolers (sp?) singing in the atrium and a quartet going around the resort singing songs. A huge tree is there decorated with turtles and doves. It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing and a wonderful family time. It was also a bit cold. I'd do it again. The crowds can be a bit much at teh holidays in the World.

We actually took a few decorations with us and put up some garland and lights inside. There's a walmart close, with anything you need.

When do the Christmas decorations go up at Vero? Im flying back down to FL from MA in 14 days. (Just returned 5 weeks ago.) Before my MIL and I and 4 of her friends get on my first cruise we are planning on taking a day trip to Vero. Its only 10 miles from MILs winter home. Hopefully the Christmas decorations are put up right after Thanksgiving.
