Fewer bullies - and fewer teachers and administrators who believed that was a "normal" part of childhood and wouldn't help or stop it. Today's kids have it much better...there is less tolerance for cruelty and more options for the victims. Growing up, I avoided other kids and preferred hanging out with adults so much more.

Also, encouragement to test out of a course or subject by giving all the material up front, instead of forcing students to learn it together.

Definitely less of it, lol. A more positive in some ways home life along with more self confidence to better advocate for myself. I would have loved attending a church's elementary school.

hmmm...are we seeing a theme here"? Where were all you people in my life? lol Wouldn't it be great if we could all have attended school together?

It's tragic how many adults harbor bad memories of what should have been fun, carefree times...just because we weren't as thin, pretty/handsome or socially smooth as society deemed "acceptable". Today there's a much wider tolerance.
