what would be your ultimate DVC stay?

We may try to do it one day in the far off future, but DW and I have joked about it and would do the following (we live in North Carolina):

-3 nights Hilton head on the way to Orlando.
-5 nights Beach Club.
-5 nights Poly LV
-5 nights BWV Boardwalk view
-5 nights VGF LV
-3 nights Hilton head on the way back

26 nights and about 600 points.....hmmm, maybe when we are retired and the kids are grown

I would plan it for F&W, so I think I would start with 5 nights at BWV, then go over to 5 nights Poly bungalow, then finish it off with 5 nights at our home resort, VWL.

I'll never have the points, or the time!

We are newly retired and this autumn going to Boardwalk Villas 8 nights; Vero Beach 4 nights; Hilton Head 4 nights, Saratoga Springs 8 nights. Once we use up the annual pass, we'll probably just use our points exclusively for Vero Beach and Hilton Head and give the theme parks a break.

Grand villa stays at VGF, BLT, and... oh, it really doesn't matter, as long as it's a GV!

Since it's just the two of us, we've never stayed in a GV.

We did get the chance to visit a friend staying in one at BLT.

Well, since you put no restrictions on the answer. Once retired, stay at OKW in a 1BR from the middle of January to the middle of March.

A month stay starting with December at one resort in the MK area, probably BLT as that is our home resort, another month at AKV and a final month at SSR. With a week cruise between the MK resort and AKV and another week's cruise between AKV and SSR. I always wanted to be a snowbird.

I think this would be a great package for Disney to offer as like one of those Adventures by Disney trips. Not many people from the U.S. end up getting to ever visit the Asian parks. Although it would still be so expensive that I don't know if they could get enough people to sign up. Maybe have it be a once a year option for like $50,000 per person.

At least a week in an OV GV at Aulani with a few days in a GV at the Grand Cal on either side (to break up the flight distance) with my regular travelling party of 8.

Now, if I could also include a paid-with-points week-long DCL cruise around the islands (similar to what Pride of America does), that would be the icing on the cake! (But there's that Passenger Vessel Act to contend with.)

That is an easy problem to solve: Invite two other couples! Family or Friends -- you'll find the GV allows three couples to vacation comfortably -- trust me! Just the right mix of "togetherness" and "privacy."

My answer to the OP would be similar ... based on GV or special unit types:
* A week at VB in a Beach Cottage
* A week in a Poly Bungalow
* 4 nights at Grand California GV
* A week at Aulani GV

You might want to consider what a couple does at HHI. They're a couple who reserves a GV in January, when points are super low. GVs there have fireplaces, and in January, the people spend the entire stay in their villa with the fireplace going. Umm, I'm not sure if they're doing anything else to keep themselves busy.
