What would annoy your neighbors?

Unfortunately, it's when I have to snow blow my driveway and sidewalk at 4:30 in the morning. I also do a neighbor's driveway and sidewalk too. I have to have them done before I take a shower and get ready to leave for work at 6:30. I know it irritates them, when they're trying to sleep. If the snow plow buries the bottom of their driveway, I'll dig it out for them.

Sometimes, you simply don't have any other options.

@BlueStarryHat should do that to the potheads next door - it would really freak them out!
I took your advice, and it backfired. 😐 Now the potheads and the drone ghoul joined up to become a hippy Bluegrass band: Puff McBlunty and the New Ghoul Review. We got a gig at the Whiskey a Go Go, you all should come on out and groove to our sound. We'll throw in some Taylor Swift for the kids, because I know they love a flying ghoul singing "Blank Space".

If I watered the grass neighbors would become unglued. I think in a 5 block walk from house only 1 person waters. The rest of the lawns are brown in the Summer.

We only have one neighbor and I don't think too much bothers him. He did call us when we were on vacation one time because our house alarm was going off - so I guess the noise bothered him, or he could have just been being a nice guy and wanted to let us know.

my husband was "mowing the grass too short" and our neighbor became unglued and it started a five year long lawn war. Dh had his mower on the highest setting.

A survey and a fence seems to have solved the problem. And it only cost me about $11,000

I'm a country boy forced back to town. Just neighbors being around annoys me. It's them all annoying me with flooding the ground water with chemicals so they don't have yellow flowers in their yards for a week each year. Can't even go outside here soon this spring because of the stench of the weed killer everyone has sprayed in their yards. Massive now blazing LED floodlights lighting up the whole neighborhood including my bedroom on everyone's porch.

Can't think of anything I do that would annoy others. I'm pretty considerate beings I come from a world of peace and privacy, I don't do things to interrupt other's peace and privacy.

Our current neighbors are far enough away that we don't bother each other. Our old neighbors were very upset when we put in an in-ground pool. We went through the township, got permits, etc. so we did everything that was required. It still made them angry. After that they became nightmare neighbors berating us for everything we did. Prior to the pool we were friends. Our girls actually played together.

Some people are just bizarre.

I'm sure my dog barking like a nut at nothing in the backyard at 11pm is really fun for them. She has the Great Pyrenees bark, so she's quite loud, and she's very serious about guarding the yard from birds, squirrels, and deer.

I think our very existence.
We've been here 25+ yrs and get along with everyone fine. Then these fine people moved in 8 yrs ago or so and lets just say they are high end subdivision with rules kind of people. We live on a dead end road with about 14 or so houses ( I live almost on the corner, never drive down the street). We all have long narrow lots approx .75 to 1 acre. There is enough space between us too. We've tried to be neighborly and talk, invite them on the deck for drinks and I'm done with trying. It's quite apparent they want to be left alone. And run out of their house if anyone so much as touches their grass , on the road, we have no sidewalks. UGH!!!

We lived in a townhouse and had a leak that ended up flooding out the neighbor. Thankfully she knew where the water shut off was for our house. I call it even since she flooded us out by accident 6 months before. And these were in brand new townhomes. :-)

Apparently putting in a play structure in our back yard bothered one of our neighbors, he was on the hoa board that tried to get it taken down for about a year until he resigned off the board when we finally sued them...during his rage about it they all yelled something about us doing our major remodel before we even moved in...apparently how dare we rip the place that we own apart without living in it first.

Not much. We live in the heart of New Orleans. Brass bands at all hours, drag races on the corner, homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, the event space across the street hosting all kinds of functions until late into the night with music so loud we can barely hear the TV, parades....pretty sure there's not much we could do that would even make them bat an eye.
