What Women Want

I'm talking about the movie starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt from quite a while ago. It was on one of the movie channels the other day and I watched it and it reminded me of something I was always unsure of with this movie.

At the end of the movie, Darcy (Helen Hunt) fires Nick (Mel Gibson). Nick leaves and Darcy comes after him and says something like "What kind of hero would I be if I didn't come to your rescue." Anyway, is it your impression that Nick was not fired after that?

Dumb thing to wonder about? Yes. But I still wonder about it.

But if he's still fired, can Erin ("the geek with the glasses") still have the new job on the Nike team?

My dd and I watched it recently. One thing that stood out to me was that this was made before all the tooth whitening started!!! No one had sparkling white teeth! (And the women weren't all totally 'stacked' either, lol.)

Anyway, I thought he was still fired.

I watched that too, I also assumed he was fired but they could be together. I guess she would have to be the breadwinner though. LOL I was also thinking how pretty Helen Hunt was in that movie.
