What Will You Celebrate? Tour

Has anyone been to one of these gatherings yet? Ours is tomorrow and I'm just wondering if I should take my two little ones. It seems like all they may be interested in are the mickey balloons.

I googled ours for today and it was canceled. It was supposed to be at 11:00. No word of it being rescheduled.

RI is cancelled!!
I'm so glad that I read these boards - and that you guys know so much about Disney!! I never imagined that it would be cancelled. I was still thinking about stopping by in Providence. Thanks for the info! It saved me some gas!!

I feel so bad, when I went on-line this morning and googled the Celebration to find out the time, and the site I found said it was cancelled. So I responded to your thread with that info; now I just went to Prov. City Hall on business and the Disney people were across the street at Kennedy Plaza handing out balloons. It is empty! I got several balloons for my kids and told them about the posting on-line. They had to close up the computers because it was starting to rain while we were there so we never go to register.

But now I feel awful if anyone cancelled their plans to head down there because of what I said. I am very sorry about the bad information. Should have known better then to trust a rival board of Disboards!

Yeah, I saw a woman in the RI Mall parking lot in Warwick this afternoon with Mickey balloons and asked her where she got them. She said "there's this Disney thing going on downtown", so I figured that the event wasn't cancelled. Don't worry about the bad info - to be honest, Disney should have better advertised this. I would have NEVER known that something was going on if I hadn't been on these boards. I think the whole tour has been poorly organized. It's no wonder no one was there this afternoon.
