What will the rain close down?

Question: What rides, shows, restaurants, parades, or attractions close if it rains at DL or CA?

In general "rain" will not close down much. Lightning will close down all outdoor attractions (Big Thunder, Splash, Autopia, Storybook Land, etc). The extend of the rain will determine whether the parade will run. If it is a light drizzle they will usually run it, if it is a steady downpour or if there is lightning they will not. It really just depends on the rain. If they feel that you or the cast is in danger of being hurt they will shut outdoor entertainment/attractions down, but there is plenty of indoor attractions, merchandise locations and food locations that you can go to if that does happen. Keep in mind that DL does not get nearly as much rain as WDW...I have been to DL many times (to many to count) and it has only rained on us once...everything was up and running as it was just a rain day (no lightning and not to hard).

Alice and the tea cups will sometimes close when it rains. The parade, fireworks and F! also close now and then because of it. One night during our trip they had F! in light rain, but Hook and Peter Pan didnt swing on the ropes of the Columbia, they just did their part on the deck of the ship. There is still plenty to do!

When we were there and it rained it was pretty heavy rain not just a drizzle they closed down the tea cups, alice and cancelled the fireworks and the parade. Normally if it does rain its not all thunderstormy with lightening so must of the stuff will stay open.

Maybe in Anaheim(which I do realize you were refering to) its infrequent but in Northern CA we have it all the time when it rains, much to my dogs dismay! She loves the rain, but is terrified of thunder!
