It's almost Groundhog day. What sort of prediction are we in for?

Haha. I'm guessing covid is here forever like the flu, but with a good portion of the population being vaccinated in the next 6 months, I can see a lot of the restrictions currently in place being lifted and we start to move beyond the devastation we've experienced this last year.

6 months was the closest to my vote, but I'm hoping it's actually a little shorter. (I realize it won't be completely gone, of course, but I'm talking about a vaccination point that allows a lot of things to safely resume.)

This is pretty simple, actually. Groundhog emerges, sees everyone wearing a mask and scurries back in his den to continue to isolate = 6 more months of Covid.

I'm voting massive sun flare. A rare one that is massive beyond anything ever seen, yet magically does not affect satellites or cause any other disruptions to earth's atmosphere or surface. The only effects left behind on earth miraculously wipes out all Corona viruses, including Covid and the common cold for good measure.
