We went on the backlot tour this past weekend. My 2 Ds's and myself went on the backlot tour, while DH and DD went to the stunt show.

The tour takes you around the backstage of the stunt show, and it is very close. So, while the poor tour guide was talking about the TOUR, everyone in the truck was oohing and aahing over the cars and motorcycles in the stunt show. And, Herbie! Really, the tour guide may have well been talking to himself.

Have you been on the Backlot tour at the same time the Stunt show was going on? What was the reaction? I guess they good rearrange the times so that they don't coincide.

Went to MGM on the 6th - saw the backlot tour at 5:30 before 6:30 showing of LMA. Drivers were practicing and was pretty neat to see behind the scenes of the show. Didn't seem to be any complaints of the group.

Well the backlot tour runs continuously all day. Since the stunt show last about 35 minutes it would be difficult to avoid this.

No, I am not saying the people on the tour would complain, they probably love it...I feel bad for the tour guide. Trying to do his speel about the movies at MGM, and we are all ooohing and aaahing over the stunt cars.

It seems the Stunt show is a huge distraction for the tour guides, not the group on the ride.
