What Will Happen to Our Fast Passes?

I apologize if this kind of question has been answered here already. We are AP holders and booked a stay at PORS for the week after Thanksgiving. If we decided to stay off site instead, what would happen to the Fast Passes associated with our room ressie? We have 32 days until check-in.

I know we can get FP+ at the 30 day mark, and I am absolutely torn between staying at PORS and another awesome property (a brand new hotel) I found just outside of Disney Springs for half the cost of PORS. If I waited a couple of weeks to cancel our ressie, would we be able to keep our FPs (since that would fall within our normal 30 day window for AP holders)?

Cancel your POR reservation 3 days from now. Your FPs will remain intact.
