What will fur characters sign?

Just wondering if there are rules about what the characters (especially the fur characters) can/can't sign. For example, I have a Pooh & friends hardshell case on my phone. Think Pooh would sign it with a sharpie?

They've signed a lot of different stuff for me! Last summer, I had them sign a white backpack using colored sharpies. Another year I had them sign a school binder using sharpies. I'm willing to bet they'd sign a phone case.

Yes, Pooh would be able to sign your phone case. The characters do love signing with sharpies!

There are rules about what they can or cannot sign. For example, they cannot sign a shirt if a guest is wearing it at the time. Another example is they cannot sign dollar bills because it is legal tender. Any other items you were wondering about, ask away! I'm sure some of us on here have had numerous items (other than autograph books) signed.

I think it depends on their hands. A lot of costumed characters including Pooh and friends can sign. Others like Ralph, Sully, Baymax, etc. don't.

I think if he is able to hold the sharpie in his hand it will be no problem. Now that I think about it he signed my book when I was 10 years old with just a pen which is skinnier than a sharpie.

I think generally the only rule about what hey won't sign is if you are wearing it t shirts for example.

They need to be able to hold it in their hand and hold the writing utensil you want them to use.

As long as they can hold the pen, there isn't many rules really (apart from those already mentioned)... Some characters cannot sign, and therefore have stamps (i.e. Buzz)

DS14 broke his arm one year. I called ahead and asked if the characters would sign his cast....and it was allowed. He kept the cast after it was removed.
