I've never tried a property tax bill but have seen people use student IDs, library cards and just about everything else under the sun. You may have to explain why your ID doesn't match your property address if asked.
You might have a problem. When DBF first moved back to the area, his ID didn't match his address. All his bills and such were to his home address, but his ID showed his address being out of state. He wasn't able to get the so cal pass with his ID because of it.
Not looking to get a So Cal pass just want to get the $99 deal. If they give me too much lip I will just forget it but property tax bill for a residence I own but do not live in at this time should be good enough...one would think anyway
They use the term proof of residency. Another offer said a government issued form of proof for the birthday stuff. A library card would work if it showed enough info. Another Disney fiasco. Hrmph.
I would say proof is driver's licence or any government issued id even if city related. Disney law dogs are the ones you will need to talk to. If your proof does nto stand up then ask for a manager.
A water bill, cable bill, utility bill, etc. will absolutely work. I used my out-of-state ID with in-state DirecTV bill. The addresses did not match, but it was not a problem.
There is no requirement that the address match and you should not get a hard time for it. If the addresses did match, then what would be the point of having to bring something else???

Stacerita,
Do you know though if they require anything beyond the CA Drivers License if it clearly states where you live? I don't have any utility bills or other documents with my address, it's not in my name, it's in my parents name. I just don't want to get there and be turned away. I thought a Drivers License would be sufficient.

You need official mail with your name and address. It does not need to have photo ID.
You can use a driver's license, a bank statement, a renter's agreement, a utility bill, a television bill, a cell phone bill, etc., etc. A property tax bill is certainly sufficient.
However, you cannot use something with your parents name unless you are a minor (and your parents are with you). It needs to have your name. So you need a California ID with your name on it, or a utility bill, bank statement, etc. with your name on it.
You could always just go get a California state ID for $20 at the DMV.

Almost anyone can own a piece of property even if they do not live in the country. They want residence not ownership and there are lots of landlords who do not live on their property. Some people have two or more homes which would mean a person could list their beach home as a So Cal property even if they live in Mexico or Tulsa.
