What do you all think will be the must have toy this year for Christmas? I remember ppl clamouring for those pink DS's last year. lol What do you think will be HOT this year?

I dunno, Tickle me Elmo TMX(or whatever it's called) has already caused violent outbursts with customers. If that doesn't qualify for the 'it' toy of the season, I would hate to see the uproar caused by 'the big deal'.

TMX Elmo and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse items for the little kids....

...and Playstation 3 (I think?) for the big kids.

Has to be the T.M.X. Elmo-----OMG I just about wet myself when I saw the video of it! He's just so darn cute....

I think Nintendo's Wii and the Playstation 3 are going to be making HUGE showings... I already want a Wii and whimper whenever my boyfriend and I talk about it LOL. But I'm the same girl that paws at the window like a puppy as we drive past Gamestop.

I gotta admit, I'll be hoping the Legend Of Zelda game series will do very well, in the Nintendo DS Lite and Gamecube platforms (as well as the Wii).

I'd like to see the Nintendo platforms show a serious future in the sales market. They've always had an eye toward the humor aspects as well as an open age bracket of appeal.

Have you SEEN the previews for Twilight Princess? Holy shiny batman! I showed my boyfriend today and I think he had to excuse himself for a few minutes :rotfl:

Nintendo has always been my choice of game concoles... but I've been loyal since the original 8 bit. :) I like the platforms and you really can't find them on any other system as well. But I'm also playing Paper Mario Thousand Year Door for the 4th time currently :3

Sorry, nope I haven't seen Twilight Princess previews, just put down deposits on it for the ds who's 12 (and gonna be Link for Halloween, at his insistance). He's also looking forward to...help me out here...the Nintendo DS (and DS Lite) new LOZ game....Dunno the other name of it....

Myself, I'm holding out to see what Cats and Sims 2 Pets for the DS are gonna be like.........

Oh my son is already looking forward to the Nintendo WII. My brother already told him that he was gonna give it to him for either his birthday which is one month before Christmas or at Christmas.

i just hope the new tickle me elmos are'nt 'possessed' like the sleep and snore ernies. i swear, even with the switch in the off postion those suckers will start talking, snoring and moving with noone near them. ours are packed in the garage and i occasionaly hear them go off (the kids insisted they were 'haunted' and made me take them out of their closets :teeth: ).

I ma not sure what it will be this year but my 6 year old daughter already gave me her birthday/christmas list and so far I bought: A Chocolate fountain, a guitar, uno spin, High school usical tickets (a local production), high school musical cd, heelys, nintendo DS lite and radio city christmas show tickets. Doubt any of those are on the "hot toy" list though....

My mom got me a tickle me Cookie monster when I was in high school.. It would start talking in the middle of the night and my mom said there was something not right about hearing "ha ha ha...this is fun!!!!" in the middle of the night. :rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Sure TMX might be hot for a minute, but I think classics will remain at the top.

Thomas the Tank Engine
American Girl and/or Disney Princess
Electronic Gadgetry (whether it be mp3 players, cell phones, or gaming systems)

LOL! I had completely forgotten about that possessed Ernie until you mentioned it. I have no idea whatever happened to ours....probably torn to shreds by one of us in the middle of the night.

That sounds much like what my 6 yr old and his friends want. They all wanted the chocolate fountain last year. They all want DS's this year. They all like High School Musical, and my son even likes guitars.
