What/Who are you Thankful for.....

Thankful for so many things -

Thankful for God's grace.

Thankful for another year of fairly good health for me and my family.

Thankful for the jobs we've kept that help to provide for the roof over our heads, the clothes on our backs and the food in our bellies.

Thankful that my parents although getting older are still alive and kicking to share our lives with.

Thankful that I get to plan another trip to Disney for next year.

Thankful that I just received a promotion on my job which will help planning that Disney trip next year so much easier.

Thankful for another year marriage to my best friend.

Thankful for the coupons that I clip to help make life so much easier and inexpensive so that our dollar can stretch in order for us to do the things we love.

Thankful for music, books, puzzles and board games because those things have helped my family remain as tight as ever. Thanks music/book reading/puzzle/board game nite!

Thankful to little pink tutus that our 4yr old wears during every Saturday dance class that reminds us just how great life is when your a little girl who dreams of dancing on tip-toes, twirling to make the tutu spin and giggling til you fall down.

Thank you for teachers who dare your kids to think outside of the box and inspire them to learn more than what books teach ya. Thanks for helping my 11yr old like school again - she won't say thanks but we will.

I am SO Thankfull for GOD!

I am So Thankfull for my 2 wonderful, amazing, healthy, beautiful girls (5 & 2).
I am so so bless to have them.

I am Thankful for my DH and even or smelly Dog!

I am Thankful for Our Jobs, Our House, Our Friends and Family.

I am very Thankful at with God Grace, we have some money and some credit (cards) HA, to take my girls to Cinderella's house this year. On my DD 5th bday she got to dance with Cinderella and the Prince and she still talked about it. I THANK GOD, I was able to give that to her.
I am thankful for the fact we are almost done with our refinance.

I am Thankful for the person who started this thread for letting us all share.

I am so blessed, I don't even know where to begin...
Of course, the most special things I am thankful are for my love of God,
My DH, the love of my life, and my 3 beautiful children,
Our health, home and education my 3 are receiving, for true friends.

I am thankful for the family we have and love, they are not a large number but we hold each and every one of them near and dear to us even when times get tough between us sometimes.

I am thankful for the things I sometimes rush by and fail to notice, like the warmth of the shining sun, the cool grass, the blue of the sky.

I am thankful this year to have gotten some of the furniture from my mother's beautiful home that she had to sell going into a nursing home. While I feel like our time with her is winding down, we will have some of her treasures to cherish and add to the beautiful memories my family has had with it.

I could go on...

My new house (new to me-first time homeowner).

What a nice thread - it really helps put things in perspective!

I'm thankful that DH and I have good jobs. We're riding out this economy just fine - sure, we've tightened up in some places, and canceled our Disney trip for next year, but we can pay all our bills and still have plenty left over for some fun.

I'm thankful for my DH - his kind, even nature, his friendship, and his romance. We met when we were 19 - so we've been together 12 years. He means the world to me.

I'm thankful for my students - some of whom are in terrible home situations right now - and the fact that they come into my classroom and try their hardest. They brighten my days. I can't think of a job I'd rather have than teaching high school!

I'm thankful for my friends - who DH and I consider to be our family. It's amazing how much they are willing to help us with and how much we truly enjoy helping them when they need it.

There's so much more that I'm thankful for! Thank YOU, OP, for starting this thread. It's a nice start to my day!

I am Canadian so our thanksgiving was a month and a half ago, but I will play!
I am thankful I have a warm house with clean air inside it to breath.

I am thankful for a wonderful DH who after 25 year of marriage still makes me impatient for the moment he walks in the door after work. Who makes me smile every morning even when I am at my grumpiest.

I'm thankful for my 21 year old DS who still comes home and talks to me for hours-usually a 2 AM when I have to get up at 5:30. Some day he won't be coming home to me and that is why they put caffeine in coffee!

I'm thankful for our 20 year old DD who absolutely drives my DH and I crazy, and I know when the chips are down she will always come through1

I am thankful my husband still has his job of 31 years with his company when others who started with him were laid off. And that my school has been able to remain open when so many of the other schools in my diocese have been closed due to declining enrollment.

And I am most thankful that 5 minutes before my 81 year old mother had a massive stroke and was completely paralyzed the last thing she did was give me a good, long hug and said she loved me! She passed away 3 weeks later. That was 9 years ago and a day does not go by that I don't feel that hug and remember her words.
