What were your table names?

Do you have a theme? Where is your reception being held? Does your 4 tables include the head/sweetheart table? While we just did numbers these are some of the combinations that we considered (some changes for WDW as we were DL):

How about:
Characters: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy...Goofy, Pluto
Lands: Fantasyland, AdventureLand, Frontierland, Tomorrowland (for you two), Main Street, Toon Town
Rides: Tea Cups, Small World, Peter Pan, Cinderella's Golden Carousel...or any other ride combination
Imagine, Dream, Inspire, Create, Love, Wish, Magic,
Parks:Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon (if you need a 5th)
Couples: Mickey/Minnie, Donald/Daisy, Cinderella/Prince Charming, Ariel/Eric, Aurora/Phillip, Snow White/Prince, Aladdin/Jasmine, Belle/Beast, Peter Pan/Wendy, Clarabelle Cow/Horace Horsecollar, Robin/Maid Marion,
Movies: Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Snow White, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmations, Peter Pan, Great Mouse Detective, Pete's Dragon, Robin Hood....

We originally were going to have places that were important to us, but then realized people would automatically sit at the table that belongs to where they live (i.e. the Worcester people at the Worcester table).

My current idea is to name the tables after towns on Cape Cod - Chatham, Hyannis, Yarmouth, Brewster, Harwich and Falmouth. When I go down this year I'll take a picture of the town sign to use as a picture. For those of you who aren't familiar with Massachusetts town signs this is what I mean.

You rock Meg!

Since our reception will be in Italy we will be using Italian city names in italian. So instead of Venice it would be Venezia

I went to a wedding where they used places that mean alot to the couple.. restaurant they went on their 1st date to, place they met, favorite vacation spot, place he proposed etc etc. On the back of each table name they explained why it is importnat in a cute little poem.
Very crative and romantic

What about:

Disney movies
Disney Couples
If you are having it in a beachy place different islands that disney travels to
let me think some more...

I absolutely love that idea... I think i may use it for my wedding...however... we kind of have 15 tables...hmmm wonder what we can do!

I bet once you sit down and start writing them down you'll end up with more then enough special places. The one I went to they had about 200 guests, and some tables were simple things like the restaraunt they order from every "date night", she even had "Fenway Park" because they love to go to Red Sox games. If you wanted to make it more Disney-sih what about a few of your fave rides that you always go on together or the hotel for your Disneymoon?

We had exactly 4 tables and they were Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Our sweetheart table was Platform 9 3/4.

Another good one, not disney, but I love it is you make each table a year or special number to the bride and groom. IE for one table I would use 1981-the year my parents got married & have a photo of them either past or present & add a short description for those who might not know/remember. Great if your grandparents are there, or you could also use birth years. Its a nice way to have your past be part of your future.

We got married in December and since we both love Christmas and Christmas Music we had a board called Santa's Song List and put Christmas Songs as the table names! My DH's favorite song is "Baby it's Cold Outside" so that was our table.:santa: :bride:

we used characters for our tables :)

cant really see it here on the table, but you can see one of our guests having fun at the 'Pluto' table! :)
