What were your strengths and weaknesses in school?

Math, Reading and English were my strengths. Math was my favorite subject.

Science was the worst, with History in the middle. PE was alright, but I hated Speech class.

Speech, Health and Science made me want to

PE (especiallly in Jr. High) was for forging a note from my mom so I didn't have to work out. I would duck behind the portables when they were running the mile.

My favorite class was Early Dismissal.

Overall, I did very well in school. My worst grades were always in penmanship. Remember when you used to get a grade for that? In fact, I remember thinking that the kids "Writing" grade back when they first started school was for penmanship, and I said something to the teacher that I was surprised DD wasn't totally marked down because her handwriting was terrible. Boy was my face red to find out they don't grade them on that anymore

I did always score higher on verbal (reading/writing comprehension) than the math stuff, at least in raw numbers. And even though my degree's in engineering, my main job skill is translating the engineer speak into program manager speak!

I also HATE gym class. taht should be illegal.

My strengths were in History and English. I still love them to this day. They are my major (History) and my minor (English).
My weaknesses were Math and Science. In high school, I had a horrible teacher who has made me dislike them greatly. I am about to graduate college and I have not taken a science or a math class, I no longer feel that I can do well in them because of that one teacher.

My strengths were English, Social Studies and Math

Weaknesses were: (DW Lauri immediately yells out "CHORUS") I would have been the William Hung of my generation. , Science, Spanish

Lauri's stengths were Art, Science, Accounting Math, Spanish and Marketing (she completed a 4 yr course in marketing in one year! )
Weaknesses: When I asked her this she said "Frickin' Geometry" under her breath with a glare that would kill. She also hated Gym and although she was in AP English, she never really liked it.

I was strong in all subjects but Spelling. I am a fast and avid reader but a poor speller.

I was good in what they call the "Language Arts"...reading, writing, spelling, grammar. Very bad in Math. Good in sciences. Okay in art. Loved Gym and was a pretty good athlete.

Strengths: Math, Science, History/Social Studies, Art, and Music (Choir), Home Ec

Weakness: English, Reading, Computers, Foreign Language (it didn't matter which one, I sucked)

I did pretty well with most subjects, but my weaker ones required a heck of a lot more enegery and work to yield the same results as my strenghts.

My first degree ended up being a science one with a history minor, no real surprise given my strengths. My second degree is heavly based in math and science too...I detect a theme!
