So today hubby and I booked a 4 day weekend trip to Disney... in 13 days! I repeat, going to Disney in 13 days! (We opened a Disney T-Shirt Etsy shop and it's done so well we're able to pay for the trip completely out of profits! We thought a celebration was well deserved haha!). So after the "AHHH WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY" set in (okay it's still setting in), we turned to... so what are we going to do? And by what are we going to do we really meant what are we going to eat?

Here's where I need some help. (1) I'm a super planner and have never tried to plan a trip in less than a 3 months let alone less than 2 weeks. Tips greatly appreciated!

(2) Where should we go? We want this to be a trip filled with new things, so aside from classics like Mickey Bars and Main Street Popcorn, we really want to try some new places. I was hoping if I listed some of our favorites we could get some suggestions of things we should try? We know we're going during Flower & Garden but we don't want to do that more than once for the $$$
Some of our favorites are: Boma, Cape May Cafe, Beaches & Cream, Raglan Road, Kona Cafe, anywhere I can get gluten free mickey waffles, Bluezoo, Yachtsman, Sanaa, Gasparilla Grill

We're staying at Pop Century but happy to do as much travel as we need for a good meal!
Thank you so so much for your help!!! :D

Younger daughter and I are going in 19 days. On our last visit in December we tried the Plaza and Yak & Yeti for the first time and really enjoyed both. Other favorites for us are Sci Fi Dine In, Nine Dragons, Rose & Crown and 'Ohana

Trail's End at FW is a different favorite of ours. We prefer the dinner with BBQ ribs, but they have a breakfast buffet too. We also second the Yak&Yeti recommendation, that is a must do for us. Ohana is a lot of good food too. Garden Grill is another different one we enjoy, with the chance to have characters and decent food. You can't go wrong with your favorites either, at least as many of them as you can get this close. Good luck and congratulations.

All the PPs suggestions are great places.

My suggestion would be to first put in your dates to see what's available to you for the nights you want to have dinner. Then when you know what's available you can make a decision. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Since you like Boma and Sanaa maybe you would like Tusker House in AK or Marakesh in Epcot.

Tusker house is good.
Plaza is good too.
The Wave for breakfast. they have sweet potato mickey waffles
Trails End for either breakfast or dinner (or BOTH!)
The Fountain at the Swalpin.
WGP Express.

Congratulations on your business!

We did the typical character places our last trip, so I most likely won't have the best suggestions for you. Lol

Hiwever, maybe you could go to a favorite meal at a different time than usual so it would be a different menu? For instance BOG lunch vs dinner? Just a thought

Sanaa is the best meal I have had on property. If you don't like food with a little flare then it is not for you. Someone suggested SciFi, another good choice.

We really liked the Wave and San Angel Inn for lunch. Both new to us. It's still pretty easy to get into The Wave last minute.

The Wave is really good. Also last time I was blown away at the Captains Grille (mainly because I didn't think it would be anything great and we loved it. No ADR needed, we walked in). Beyond that, we walked in for lunch at Morimoto and loved that as well. I always stop for Fish and Chips at Yorkshire as well. Once you get to the week before, a lot of times people start cancelling reservations, so if there is a place you really want to try, keep on checking for ADR.

O'Hana at the Polynesian Resort is wonderful. We also like Mama Melrose and we try and get the Fantasmic Package. Sci Fi is also a good choice. Have a great vacation.

Le Cellier, Tapan Edo

We have had some outstanding chefs at Tepan Edo. That is a great choice.
Also tried The Plaza for a trip last April. We are going again this April. Great place to relax and have a great chocolate shake.

The Wave and Captain's Grille are great restaurants and easy to get a last minute reservation.

Thank you so so much everyone! I'm gluten intolerant so that makes it a little harder for some places but we've been super lucky with reservations so far! (Not so lucky with the fastpasses though lol, already mentally preparing myself for the two hour line we'll wait in to get a picture of our Frozen inspired tees with Anna!)
At the moment we have booked a lunch at Le Cellier (appetizers, poutines, and desserts haha) and a dinner at Artist Point. I know hubby is excited to try Liberty Tree Tavern but I don't eat much meat (I know, hardest person to feed ever) so not sure how many options I'll have there.

We've never tried the Wave but so many pp's suggested it I'm going to have to add it to the list :D I also was thinking about trying the walk up bar at Morimoto's, has anyone tried it?

Thank you again! :D

We've gone to the bar at Morimoto's and I recommend it! Cocktails are yum! We also love the Boathouse!

Edited to add: if you like sushi, go to Kimono's!

We also like Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk

Don't be afraid to try any of the bars for food. Most have their own menu but you usually get get the restaurant menu too.
Saana in AKL has an entire gluten free menu and their food is amazing. Note your allergy on any ressie you make and be sure to tell your server. Just like Saana, most have an allergy menu and will provide it for you or tell you what you can or can not eat.
Some chefs will come to your table too. I've heard of them even making something completely off menu for people.
Liberty Tree has way more than meat but again, make sure you tell them gluten free as the regular menu stuff has it (mac & cheese and bread etc). They usually have an option for you.

- If you like Raglan Road, try Rose and Crown..
- If you like Bluezoo, try Narcoossee's
- If you like Boma... go to Boma. I love Boma too :rotfl:
- Check out the Wave for breakfast. Not sure if they have gluten free waffles, but they offer a lot of healthier options, like sweet potato pancakes and I THINK multigrain Mickey waffles.

We did a lot of "firsts" last trip as well.
- We tried Beaches and Cream for the first time and it became an instant favorite.
- We tried Artist Point, and despite its "meh" reviews, really enjoyed it. My mom's salmon was the best she's ever had and the bison strip is cooked perfectly! The soup is the star of the show - but you can get that at the bar, too.

I really like Raglan Road, but I actually prefer Rose & Crown. Probably gonna get burned for that, but it's personal preference. I have some English blood in me, so I prefer the English twist rather than the Irish.

A few QS recommendations:
- Wolfgang Puck Express is AWESOME and presents a ton of bang for your buck. The pizza there is awesome and can easily be split.
- Cookes of Dublin is Raglan Road's Quick Service at Disney Springs. The battered burger is awesome. Also has a ton of bang for your buck.
- Landscape of Flavors at Disney's Art of Animation is delicious. It offers a ton of variety - burgers, salads, Italian, Mediterranean, etc.
- Boardwalk Bakery is a family favorite. It's awesome for lunch, brunch of breakfast. They make some pretty hefty sandwiches and the desserts are insane!
- The French bakery in the France Pavilion is really good. The sandwiches are okay. The real winners are the quiches and desserts. Get the donut!

- I'd personally recommend BOG for Breakfast lunch or dinner. Never been there for lunch, but we loved breakfast (although it doesn't get much love on these boards) and dinner is delicious. It's a little salty, but what Disney food isn't?

- Also - we love Captain Cook's at the Poly. Decent food. And the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary is fun. I love watching the monorail go by and the cupcakes are delicious. They have a spicy chicken sandwich that I really enjoy and my dad loves the half chicken.
