Anyone have some pictures of the crazy outfits/shoes etc that people have worn to the parks? I know I've seen some interesting choices, but do not have any pictures to share!

We call many of those outfits (and the people who wear them) Disney Hootchies. I wish I had photos but I am usually too busy laughing and trying not to make eye contact to take the photo. Really people, 3 inch heels at Disney is a bit much. The fashion police have spoken.

When I was young and less respectful...We used to have someone in our group go pretend to take a picture near someone in a terrible outfit and we would really take the pic of the person and whatever they're wearing...

I have a hysterical photo of a friend standing next to a light pole in Disney Land because there was a woman standing a few feet from her in a BRIGHT flourescent (sp?!) lime green track suit... And the woman is glaring at my friend in the photo... It was from the days before digital or I would definitely post it... Its stuck in a scrapbook now and I laugh every time I look at it!

Good times!

I don't have photographic evidence, but I have seen an occasional lady in crazy high heels. I bet her feet are killing her at the end of the day!

I use to wonder what the thought process was when I would see a woman in heels and business type outfit walking through one of the Parks (or a guy in a business suit for that matter) and could see she was probably not a cast member (no name badge, etc). Then after moving down to Orlando and after having attended several private events at the Parks I realized lots of times people come straight from work to a Park event. Several times I've been walking with my wife around Epcot and she is in high heels and business suit and I'm thinking "She looks like the people I laughed at for not knowing how to dress at the Parks".

Of course that still doesn't explain the guests walking around in jeans and a parka when it's 92 degrees and humidity is 90 percent.

This type of thread is a better fit on the theme parks community board, so I'm going to move it over there now.

I personally love seeing the men and women wearing the bikinis that have no business wearing them. I waited in line for Summit Plummet for 20 mins with lady wearing a thong with pimples on her butt!!! OMG that was the longest 20mins of my life!!!! Andfor heaven's sake I did not take a picture of that!!! LOL

I don't know how to say this without being gross, but I guess if you're reading this thread you're prepared to read just about anything. In line for BTMRR, the middle-aged woman in front of us had on the TIGHTEST jeans with the HUGEST wedgie I literally have ever seen. And I was a teenager in the 80's, the era of tight stretchy acid wash, so that's saying a lot! Her pants went so far into her crack...if you stuck a ruler in there I would say she had at least a 3 inch wedgie. Maybe 4. What was even funnier was the middle-aged guy she was with thought she was the hottest thing ever. They were all over each other like teenagers.

On our most recent trip...we covered the first night of food &Wine which was also the last weekend of the PI clubs. It seems that a contingent of folks went to the park for a bite then over to PI. They drank as much as they could while in Epcot, grabbed a bite to eat, then headed over to PI (or maybe some went to hard ticket F&W events). The park went from almost normal, to crazy busy in WS with folks dressed in all kinds of crazy club type outfits, to fairly quiet during actual EMH.

One outfit which stood out was a lady in very sexy gold lame (almost ryhmes with flambe) top that exposed her midriff, shimmery shiny black leggings, with gold high heels, and a large leopard print pocketbook. It was SOOOOO not your typical park attire.

There were plenty of men who were wearing crazy outfits as well - including exposed midriffs! one guy had this exposed leather thing on...

I don't have a picture, but the image I will never forget! New years day 2006 in line for Spaceship earth there were 2 teenage girls (looked late teens) directly in front of us. They had on teeny, tiny shorts, high heels, a bikini top and a fur coat. But from the back you could not see the shorts, just the high heels and the fur coat. I'm actually surprised they were allowed to wear what they had on in the park.

OMG!!! That is hilarious!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I haven't seen crazy outfits but I am still trying to figure out how woman can wear 4 inch heels and walk around all day. I walk around in sneakers and my feet are very tired at the end of the day.

Also I also shake my head at the ones who get all dolled up and decked out in loads of makeup and get dressed up with those high heels for a nice day at the park. You don't need to get dressed up to walk around and wait in lines. :lmao:

Oh and I almost forgot the ones that wear white pants/shorts that you can obviously see that they are wearing a thong. :crazy2:

I don't get the ones who get all dolled up and wear heels to the parks. But, I do have a friend who would just not be able to enjoy herself, at Disney or anywhere else, without her makeup and hair done, even in the heat and humidity. It just seems so uncomfortable to me. But, to each her own.
