I'm planning on going in July this year and have never been there during that month before. Can anyone tell me if any one week is better than the rest. I will avoid the week of July 4th, but are there any other events that go on in July which may cause larger than normal crowds?

I've never toured WDW during July. I'll just bump this back to page one for you, in hopes that some of our veterans can offer advice.

I would love to know too.
We do the last week of June into the 1st week of July - till July 9th.
So we'll be there for the 4th.

I think our AP ticket will help us hop around - MK in the AM - then cooler EPCOT in the afternoon - a splash of Studio's at night.
or
Park -> pool -> Park for a day.

I know it will be hot. Only reason for pants would be for horse back riding.
I know to do PS for lunch (and maybe dinner) to get out of the crowds.
I know to do my HDD reservation 1.5 years in advance.
I know to bring a least 2 bathing suits per person and ask for extra towels at the resort.
I know to bring footpowder to sprinkle in our sneakers.

Events - Wide World of Sports - cheerleading,... conventions
if kids events - Value resorts will be packed
if adult conventions - the S/D pool may close for them - same for
Contemporary & Coronado
Weddings a the GF - from the monorail, you may see one

Other than that - LOTS of people who have kids off from the summer (like us)
visiting WDW.

We have twice during the second week of July. It has always been nice. We will be arriving this July also.
