what week in april 2016 do you recommend?

The more I look for rooms and airfare, I think I will just keep my trip as is. This is supposed to just be a quick extended weekend trip to get one more trip in before my annual pass expires on May 11. I thought about going for my birthday, May 6, but that would mean I wouldn't be home for mother's day, so that is out. I think I will just keep it early April and enjoy the cooler temperatures and lower crowds. I will most likely be going back in the fall anyway so I can see all of the new stuff then.

We'll be going the second week of April, as that is when spring vacation falls for CT. Hope its not too bad but looking forward to it nonetheless!

Most (public) schools in Mass. and Maine have vacation April 16 to 24. (Its always the week that has the 3rd Monday in April - Patriots Day.)

Its a pretty good week crowd-wise, unless its within a week of Easter (as it is in 2017). That said, I've been looking at booking a deluxe resort during that week (April 16-24, 2016) since the room only discounts came out (a month or two ago?) and several dates are never available at certain resorts.

would NOT go the 4th week of April if you're looking to avoid crowds. NYC and Long Island public schools are off, as are my nieces and nephews in MA, NH, and NJ.

MA is off the 18th to the 22nd...the 3rd week in April.

Maybe you're not speaking for the whole state, but your tone implies everyone goes to WDW for spring break. They don't. Not even close.
