Wow that's quite the walk and without the stroller. OH MY! Take the boat next time. :) Eric discovered that boat after his long trek from Earl to Disney Quest. haha

Your AK day sounds really fun even in the rain. At least you werent' sweating buckets. :)

THE BOAT TAKES YOU FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER! (SLAP ME) or Danny would if he knew that:rotfl2:... it was a light rain and he complained everychance he got...he was tired of my friends little boy by this time (he was mean to Ashton). I thought the boats were for travel back and forth to the resorts:rolleyes1

If you look real close to the potato head you can see the rain drops on him and that is why the serpent is surrounded by ghost balls..

After naps we headed over to magic kingdom for "Wishes"; as I said in the PP I had forgotten about "Spectro". Which is probably for the best since Joe's accident in Iraq he does not do close crowds well (we were worried how he would do w/rides like Areosmith RC).

I don't know why I didn't take many pics but we went to Tommowland and were able to get it ALL in...we went to "Monster's Laugh In", the buzz ride, I brought Ashton get a bite to eat while they rode Stitch and the orbitters.
We went ride the teacups...Ashton loved this...even spinning...Dayne talked Danny into riding (Danny does not like to spin--I love it)...

waiting while the older kids ride the teacups (first go round--we jumped on after)--Dayne got off talking smack...so WE had to show him:lmao:

next installment **sorry no food reports--this was not a dining trip--our next one will be --we have a year to decide to we want to go deluxe or not**
we started our day with EMH at MK on day 5
more to come maybe tomorrow
Ashton's day of PRE-OP is tomorrow we start at 9am and last appt at 2 pm

Great update Connie! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I know we are in the minority but we love AK. It is our second favorite next to MK. Love the teacup pic. If you ask Josie what her favorite rides are she says Teapots and Taterheads (aka: the teacups and TSM).

Great pictures! I was interested to see your pics to see how the rain impacted your trip but so far it doesn't look like it has impacted anything!?
He is sitting on a rain poncho; when we went in to "Finding Nemo" show the sun was beautiful; when we came out it was storming... each time it would rain he would ask for the stroller (any other time he wanted to walk or be carried) he would wait for you to cover him and ask for his fishies (gold fish or crackers)--LOL!

one of the only shots where you can really see the rain effect...

good luck tomorrow. When is his surgery?

There are both resort boats and a boat that goes from one side to the other. I didn't know they were there either until Eric told me after he had walked all that way.

Sounds like you had a great night in the MK!

Surgery is monday; if they don't postpone it--I was told if he was sick with anything they would have to postpone (and as much as I do not want to go through this--I don't know if I can handle waiting anymore).
One of the little girls I watch went to the dr today an they said she has "Indian Fire" AGAIN...this is a friends granddgt and I really watch her as a favor (I only chg $15 a day and I feed her). I told them before we left for Disney that if the girls were sick when I came back I would not be able to watch them. She waited until today to take her to the dr. I understand she has had these spots since the end of last week. If it were not for being my friends granddgt I would tell her I cannot not watch her anymore. The inconsideration and immaturity is unreal...this is the one that sent her vomiting before we left...ugh!!!

Our first appt was at 10 am this morning... we were suppose to start w/the cardiologist, the cardiovascular surgeron, lab, radiology, lunch, preop, and registration...
this is how our day went:
we got there at 9:45 the receptionist sent us to lab first
I thought good we can get the worst over first...
it was bad; my poor baby--six tubes of blood!!!:scared1:
the tech said to go to radiology she would sign us in and hour later we went ask ...we were not signed in--ugh!:sad2:
we moved over to cardio for the two doctors (same location--one exam room for us--:thumbsup2)--not!!!!
the surgeron comes in right away:)
the cardio forgot us:headache: an hour later he comes in...I had gone out to see what was going on at least three times and the nurse would say he'll be right in...he thought we did not show up because our appt w/him was for 10:sad2:
by this time we need to go across the street for preop and reg. we are already late (NO LUNCH) good thing I brought snacks for Ashton...
we finished here and Danny & I decided we would go to "Deannie's" seafood resturant on Lake Ponchatrain...Ashton was so tired he slept through the enitre meal...:sad2:
he woke up on the ride home (hour ride--the hosp is in New Orleans we live on the northshore) wanted his gumbo (he heard me while he was sleeping, I guess--would not touch the fries or fish)
when we got home Danny & I were so tired we asked Dayne to watch Ashton (they both ate) while Danny & I took a short nap...

Surgery Monday 11:30 am if they are running on time:scared1: we have to be there for 10 am
my poor baby has to fast from 3 am until surgery this should be interesting
he opens his eyes and asks for "chocolate milk" (his pedisure)

will post day 5 tomorrow...:flower3:

Great updates.

I will keep Ashton in my prayers. I know it is hard to have a child going into surgery.

Sometimes people are so inconsiderate. But, hey what are you supposed to do? You HAVE to wait 'cause you've GOT to see the doctor. Lots of hugs and prayers are headed your way!:lovestruc:grouphug:

aw what a rough day. Sounds like he handled it well though. you'll be in my prayers that he doesn't get sick this weekend. Will be thinking and praying for you guys on Monday.

will try to post day 5 tomorrow. we are moving Gwendolyn and Joe in (yes, to our house), Joe is buying 23 acres w/ a small house that needs work; so, in the mean time we now have a household of "6"--hope it goes ... FAST!!!

I had been waken by Stitch and Mickey calling ...
We had waken up to a beautiful day; so, we started our day by eating breakfast at the resort (we did this all week--it was just easier on our way to the busses).

We were on our way finally to the Magic Kingdom! After arriving we did the photopass shots; walked through the castle; the line for Dumbo was already very long so we went to Mickey's Philharmonic (it was just letting in-with no line). Ashton would not wear his 3D glasses for any of the other shows but he did for this one. It was more entertaining to watch him than the show--his first 3D experience. We than rode Winnie the Pooh, It's a small world, Peter Pan, and Haunted Mansion--I had gotten a fast pass (or so I thought for Winnie the Pooh).

After Haunted Mansion Danny & the three older kids went to Adventure Land and Ashton & I went back to Winnie the Pooh (that is when I found out I was given a surprise fast pass to the Philharmonic--ugh!)so, I got another fast pass and we went to Toontown. We walked through Mickey's house and waited 20 min in the sun to see Mickey. We were than told it was another 60 min wait; I left and let him play in the play land across from Mickey's house. He enjoyed running around...but, for some reason he pushed a little girl down and I made him apologize and left with him. We went try the playground by the Winnie the Pooh play yard he did much better here. Winnie the Pooh and Tigger was there for pictures but the line was soooo long... We went ride Winne the Pooh and than I took him eat at Pinocchio's Village--he loved the mac n cheese.

He fell asleep while I was eating... we met up w/Danny and the crew went ride "Pirate's of the Carribean"... Ashton loved it...
we left went back to the resort for lunch for everyone else and to finish Ashton's nap and of course the rain came by that time...

Pluto -- Ashton had Pluto on his romper and was sooo excited to show him
(the photopass photographer got a pic of him showing Pluto his picture on his outfit)

next installment 5.2 Epcot EMH in the rain...

After a little rest, we jumped on the busses for Epcot (EMH and the firework show). It was still drizzling but the heavy rain seemed to be over.

We walked in Ashton loved all the fiberoptic lights in the ground:laughing:. I took a few pics of the topiaireis w/the princesses and dwarfs (they are too dark to post--sorry), I have a video of Ashton playing on the lights. We walked over to the Mexico pavillion to ride their boat ride. We came out just in time for the firework and laser show; along w/a quick down pour. The fireworks were great other than in the rain it causes alot of smoke.

It was EMH that night; so we managed to get in Mission Space (I missed this one--I sat w/Ashton and let him play in the play area), Test Track (I rode this one--it was great--the last time I rode it the tire went flat in the car in front of us and we only went about 40mph), we than walked over to "The Land" we brought Ashton see the Simba, Timon, Pumba show; walked over to "Soarin'" but left, the line was 30min:scared1: and the CM would not give us a parent swap w/o Ashton:headache:. Gwendolyn had gone to the restroom w/him. So, we walked over to the "Seas" and rode the Nemo ride... we decided to leave with plans to return in the morning feeling like we had covered most of what we wanted to see. And would be able to finish future world in the morning w/o a problem...would we be able to do it:rolleyes1...

THE ONLY PICTURE that I am able to publish from that night...

Day 6 to come Sunday...
tomorrow is Danny & I's 23rd anniversary:hug:
don't what we are doing yet but I let Ashton spend the night at my mom & dad's tonight (only the second time--can't seem to get comfortable leaving him for long--I was not like this with Gwendolyn and Dayne:confused3 ) and tomorrow is suppose to be a beautiful day think it might be a trip to Gulfport...:lovestruc:love:

Today is our 23rd anniversary...
Ashton is at my mom & dad's and Danny and I are sitting here trying to figure out what to do w/ourselves:confused3...isn't that sad:lmao:

go out to eat...
go to the coast...too late in the day, now and still tired of riding
of well...need to get off the computer; he is getting out of the shower and figure out something to do...
maybe we will go pickup Ashton and go walk around Bass Pro and grab a bite to eat...
that sounds like fun...:upsidedow

Have a great day! everyone:flower3:
