I would say I have Aquatica above BB or TL,not by much, but still above. It's weird there's more previous posters suggesting BB,TL seems to be the more popular overall choice of the two Disney waterparks on these boards whenever a thread pops up asking this.TL has a watercoaster slide that's unique and the best slide in the park but the other slides are a OK at best, except for the family raft ride which is plain and simply bad.The wavepool at TL has the big surf mode with huge waves that knock you out and make you scrape your knees on the rough floor, but it's fun so you deal with it.The lazy river is good and you have the shark reef where you snorkel with small sharks, but be prepared for cold water.
BB has the Christmas, snowy theme, unique, but the suns glare on the fake snow starts annoying you after a while. The wave pool is pretty mediocre, lazy river is good but freezing water falls on you inside the caves. The slides are good and has more thrilling speed slides but be ready to wait in line on a lot of days.I don't like the parks layout as pretty much every slide is up the mountain so you have to walk up the same couple of staircases which gets boring, they do have the chairlift but that doesn't give you access to all the slides and could have a wait.TL has the attractions more spread out and the stairs to access the slides are not as vertical.Food at both Disney waterparks in my experience has been plainly put bad.I had the worst burger of my life at BB and had a sandwich at TL on bread that needed about 30 minutes to completely thaw out,how do you serve bread that cold,it was more suited to being served at BB.
Aquatica:Not as big or lush as the Disney parks has more palm trees in a colorful New Zealand theme.Has double wave pools which I believe one has bigger waves than the other.Has a small traditional lazy river that you can use to enter the twin bowl slides or if you choose just stay in the lazy river. They also have a larger fast lazy river that's possibly the coolest attraction at this or either of the two Disney waterparks. You just put on a life vest and float along using the fast current. The slides are pretty good, not as themed as the Disney ones that appear built into the mountains but still good. They're building a new drop slide to add to their attractions,it will use the capsule pod like at Wet n Wild where you step into the capsule and the attendant pushes a button to make you drop. They also have the Dolphin Plunge where you slide past swimming Commerson's dolphins in a clear tube, but don't expect to see them as you go by though.I think where Aquatica beats BB or TL is that they have better food options, shopping options and kids attractions as they basically have a small kids section as well as a bigger kids area where even adults can enjoy themselves, its one of those that has one of those water play structures with a huge bucket dropping water every couple of minutes.A negative on this park compared to the Disney ones is they charge for parking.Of the two Disney waterparks I prefer TL.
