Let's hear your worst experience during your trip at Disney World? Here is my experience with the rudest group of people I ever saw:

We were staying at the Dolphin Hotel. A couple of years ago they used to have the caravan of characters come up to the hotels so that people could visit and take pictures. Well, I was in line, with three people in front of me, with my three children. All of a sudden a group of twenty or more started pushing in front of us. They just sort of got in line to the side of us and started making that their new line. I tried to politely inquire to the women who started this trend and she smiled at me and in broken english said that they were part of a group. I smiled back and said that maybe she could take her group back behind me where they belonged. I was so angry she just kept smiling and refused stating that the three people in front of me were also with her group so that they were allowed to cut us. Luckily someone from the Dolphin saw them and told them that they couldn't do that. Talk about rude. What happened to you?

Worst~ DD/ I used to be fanatic about the afternoon parade at MK. I would choose a perfect spot on the curb for her to sit on, Id lay down a towel for her to sit on, and stand behind her. (usually at least an hour before parade time. With the towel spread out, we would often offer another fam to let their small child sit next to her, for an unobstructed view. One afternoon, a couple of incredibly rude adults squeezed in on her towel (standing on it, smoking, DD is allergic, and crowding her to the point where she ended up scooching back half a foot, prompting the 2 @******s to spread out and stand directly in front of her. I still get mad just thinking about it:mad:

2~ One afternoon, before we lined up to see fantasmic, we wanted to grab a bite to eat. I got her the turkey leg she'd been begging to try. (those thinks look a little fred flintstoneish to me), but I got it, and we sat down. I proceeded and TRIED to cut the meat off the bone for her. It was so tough I felt like I was wrestling an aligator. DD was so mad she ended up throwing a temper tantrum and falling off her seat :(

Other than that, I have had some of the best times of my life at WDW. And next time, if someone tries to squeeze DD out of her space, Im sure they would get an earfull. (She has my short fuse) Im glad though, she wont let any bullies shove her out of their way. And if DD wants turkey now, I know to find a sandwich

My worst experience was watching people eat those Turkey Legs!!

They just grossed me out! And in the July heat I could not even stand the smell of the stands selling them!

They may taste good but I will not try one! YEECH......

I remember being in MGM with my niece and we were both about 10 at the time. My mom went to go check in for our PS at Mama Melroses while my dad stayed with us so we could see Miss Piggy and Kermit. Well there were about 4 families in front of us and all of a sudden this Australian family gets in front of us. Just walks up and gets in line. Well my dad had a fit and told the guy he needed to get in the back if the line. The guy pointed his finger in my fathers face and my dad moved his finger away. This guy was yelling obsenities at us and finally he and his family left. We were so bewildered we didnt know what to do but stand there in astonishment. But what really gets me is that there was a Cast Member right there watching my dad and this man and not once said anything. She didnt even tell him to go to the end of the line, she just stood there smiling.~

Worst was seeing someone, and from the accent, clearly a New Yorker, shouting profanities at someone who had accidently cut in line for the carousal. This guy was using every 4 letter, 8 letter, 10 letter, and 12 letter term, and combination thereof, and threatening to dismember him right there. This, of course, in Fantsyland, about 2pm, in front of hundreds of families with kids. The guy who 'cut' in had the good sense, and class, to walk away. A lot of stunned faces there. By the time CMs or security could have responded it was clearly over. But I think the fear was that this nut was going to pull a gun next.

never had any rude people bother me but my worst experience was getting sick after eating the lamb at CRT.... I also had a sea gull poop on me in front of the race track in the MK.

I would have to say our worst dining experience was at 1900 Park Fare this past July. Not that the food was bad -- it was good as was the character interaction, but the service bit the big one.

As you probably know 1900 is a buffet, so all the waiter has to do is bring you your drinks and eventually your bill. We have 10 people at our table (3 kids) and it took over 20 minutes to bring the drinks. And trying to get refills??? No way. 2 people in our party had alcoholic drinks to start with and then wanted to switch to soda. Only one person got it. (the other just gave up).

Then we waited and waited and waited for our bill. Once it came and we had figured out who owed what, the waiter came back and said he needed the bill back because his manager said he had to add a 15% gratuity due to the size of our party.

That really ticked us off because we are good tippers for good service and didn't like being "forced" to give a tip this guy didn't deserve.

BY the time the bill came back, the kids and a parent and an aunt had left. Then my DH left to find a manager. By the time our waiter finally came back with the corrected bill and we left, the manager was outside talking to my DH.

In the end, we were refunded all of the gratuity (we were going to leave the waiter a smaller percentage, but the manager insisted...he even asked if we'd like to come back again another nite, but we were not looking for a free meal, just some service).

Part of the problem I think was that earlier in the day we'd had lunch at the LTT and our server (Susan) was spectacular. Even though she was running around serving plenty of other tables she made sure that our glasses were always full (it was very hot that day) and made sure that we were ok. It was a case of excellent service in the early afternoon (and a tip of 20%) and poor service in the evening.

by a person deciding to stand in front of me at a parade, and other than my poor DD getting pooped on by a seagull, and other than our luggage arriving at our room about 11:30 pm on our arrival day, and other than our server at 1900 Park Faire ignoring all the little girl's birthdays in our back room, and other than getting yucky tasting food at the Japanese counter service after I had begged DH to eat there, and other than running out of film during our lunch at CP......I would have to say that my most HORRIFYING moment at WDW is.......

LEAVING!!!!!!!!!:(

When we went in 2000, I was just coming off a nasty divorce and was having a really rather nasty spell with Social Anxiety Disorder. I was proud of myself by about the third day because I had only had two panic attacks and I seemed to be feeling more comfortable. Well, that was before the CM from hades! I didn't understand that you had to get your hand stamped with the Park Hopper pass before you entered another park, and up until that point it hadn't been a problem, that was until we tried to enter Epcot after leaving MK. This older gentleman (and I use the term extremely loosely) CM reamed me worse than anyone ever had, either before or since, for not getting my hand stamped. He was yelling at me telling me how stupid I was because I had been there three days already and I hadn't caught on yet. I did nothing but just shake. My Mother, who was with me, was already through the gates and waiting up ahead and had no idea what was going on. Eventually another CM (looked to be about 17) came over and said "Man, let her go!". By the time I got to my Mother I just broke down and she couldn't get a word out of me until we got back to the room and by then it was too late for her to do anything but call the front desk. But without the CM's name, they could do nothing.

When we went back in Jan, I looked awfully hard for that old coot, but never saw him. I so wanted to do a little reaming of my own!

One of my worst dining experiences was at the San Angel Inn. I will say that the atmosphere was nice. The food was poor- blah and lukewarm, but the service was even worse! We waited 15 minutes before we saw our waiter. He took our orders, someone else brought our food, we were never check up on, our glasses were left empty and we had to ask the host to get our bill. It was one of the worst WDW dining experience we have ever had and I doubt we would ever go back.

Worst dining experiences: Tony's and CM!

Worst thing I did: Accidently ran into a young girl (around 12) with my stroller! :o I could have died! I apologized but clearly they were having a bad day anyway, could have had something to do with the fact they were wearing black jeans on a hot day!

Worst thing I saw: At Spectro. we arrived 30 min. prior to parade start at the rope in Frontierland. Everyone around us was sitting down, waiting nicely. A family with young children and a grandma in a wheelchair came right behind us and the family next to us. When the parade started, the family next to us (on the rope) stood up directly blocking wheelchair grandma and kids! When it became clear they wouldn't sit down like everyone else. I invited the blocked family's little kids up to the rope with mine in my and DH's place, then I spoke directly to the wife who did finally sit down so grandma could see some, the dad said "Too bad I got here 30 min. early so I could see the parade". What a jerk!:snooty: Some people just don't get it!!

Guess I wasn't paying attention to which forum I was in, but I've got another one, this one is food related...

Back story: When I was 10, (roughly about 1980) we went to Disney for the first time. It was so horrible that I swore I would never take another family vacation with my step-monster again and I never did.

Jump forward 20 years: We're all adults now, 20 years had passed and I figured it was time for another trip. We've all matured, let by-gones be by-gones, all that cute stuff.

My step-monster told me to plan everything, "it's your baby", he'd say, and plan I did! For months I did everything meticulously down to the last detail. I made sure to read every menu at Disney to find items that he would eat. It was all perfect, or so I thought.

Flash forward day 2 of our trip: We are at Le Cellier, possibly my most favorite Disney restaurant. He snarls at the menu, hates everything. The waitress shows up to take our order. After much un-warranted harrassment of the waitress, he orders a steak (without the sauce (which is nothing more than gravy). He complains about the mashed potatoes (which happen to be the best on the planet) he complains because they have no fries, he complains because he can't get just a baked potato. They bring his salad. He complains because its Ceasar salad and it's got no tomatoes and pushes it off on my Mother. He complains that the beer is watery. He complains that the steak is tough (which mine cut like butter). I was in tears after about 20 minutes into his rampage.

He spent the rest of the week complaining because we weren't eating hamburgers at McDonalds everyday. He didn't eat a sit-down meal with us again after that and just complained about how he was left out of everything! When we finally stop at Restaurantosaurus in Ak for lunch, he gets, get this...are you ready...just a strawberry shortcake!! No burger, no chicken, no fish...no fries...just a strawberry shortcake!!

Moral of the story...even after 20 years, step-monsters don't change! From now on, he's not even invited to go to Wal-Mart.

You must've been there when the Brazilian School kids are there.

I go down the same week every year and I have to say they are the rudest, and most obnoxious teenagers I have ever seen.

They cause damage, ruckuses and cut everyone in line. Their chaperones, when they are actually with them, are no better.

I now avoid my "usual" week and choose another each year.
