I'd just be interested to hear about your character experiences that you'd rather forget. Was a character ever rude, boring, a waste of time, etc. Are there certain characters you wouldn't waste your time on again?

The worst interaction was on our Honeymoon in 1996. We ate at the WL for breakfast and Pocahontas (sp) came by our table to sit with us. Well she looked like she had just stepped out of the movie. I could not believe how much she really looked like her.

So I commented on how much she looked like the cartoon and in her SNOOTY voice says "Well I would hope so!":scared1:

Well I was quite taken back by her remark. We took a few photos but I will always remember her but not for the good.

This one isn't a horrible experience per say but it was bad for me. Eyeore ignored me, not once, not twice but three times in one day. We booked breakfast at CP a few years ago so I could collect the Pooh autographs, Eyeore is my fav and I even wore my Eyeore shirt to show him. He never came to our table, once he went on by without stopping the second time he came to the table behind us and then turned around and left for break, we waited over 20 min (we had already been done eating and were just waiting on him to come by, we waited over 45 min for him alone) and he didn't come back. Later that day I stood in line to see him and he went in when I got up to the next in line and Pooh came out. THEN in the parade he was coming down the street right in front of me and hopped to the other side when he was about 5 feet away. Just randomly. It was traumatic. He wasn't in the UK Toy shop that week either, we never did get to see him. I have lucked out in the past few years and seen him in various places, but that one trip it just wasn't meant to be.

I remember when I was... 12 I was trying to get Jafar's autograph and he kept throwing my pen down. I KNOW that he was in character, but after the third throw I was a bit annoyed. I guess he did his job though because almost 20 years later I still remember it. hahaha

The queen of hearts almost ran my 4 ft tall 5 yr old over repeatedly....... and no it wasn't her 'acting' bc Capt Hook came over and swooped my DD up n told the Queen to 'kindly watch her step' and the Queen looked down and freaked when she saw she was almost knocking into DD..... Capt. Hook is now DDs Fav. LOL

Is Aladdin that old??? When did it come out?

Peter Pan and Wendy were really lame on our trip last/this month. They were boring and pretty much just a girl in a nightgown and a guy in tights. I can see that anytime. :rotfl:

On our first time eating at Princess Storybook Bkfast, all the princesses were wonderful---except Aurora! She had zero personality and acted half asleep!! Our DD's were little, and didn't seem to notice, but DH and I make sleepy princess jokes the rest of the trip!

We had one Aurora who was very peppy, the rest of ours have been pretty mellow, as well.

Peter Pan this past August was kinda creepy. He was like a creepy little boy my mom, sister and I felt awkward taking a picture with him. Haha!

My story continues over 30 years!

I am a HUGE Pluto fan as you all can tell. Well when my parents took my brother and I back in the 70's we never got to see Pluto...on our last night there was my Pluto just sitting on a park bench all alone. I ran over and hugged him and was crying like a baby (I think I was around 12 yrs old) it was the best moment but my parents had used up all thier film and I NEVER got a picture with him. That bothered me for years and years....

Flash forward to our first "family" trip in 2004 and I was on a mission to find Pluto and there he was in the gazebo out behind Minnie & Mickey's houses. We wait in the huge line I get up to him like a big baby telling him how much I love him blah blah blah. Dh takes a ton of pictures of me and my Pluto and the kids, me and Pluto etc. I was SOOOO HAPPY until we got back to the room later that night and realized I had never put film in the camera!!!:scared1::sad1: I was soooo MAD!!

I do have a happy ending tho...we were just leaving AK a few days later and Pluto had just come out and had a long line and I was telling the people behind us what had happened and the CM overheard me and pulled me to the front of the line and took our camera and took a bunch of the best photos ever!!! That CM saved my day!!!

well she IS Sleeping Beauty :lmao:;)

that is true.

We were there two years ago, and had breakfast at CRT. Belle came out, and I joked that it must have been Belle's mother, as she looked really old. Belle should not look older than me.

We saw Belle in France later on. She must have gotten a good night's rest because she looked a good 15 years younger.

Limited release on November 11, 1992. Wide release November 25, 1992. :goodvibes

OMG! I'm OLD! :scared1: I remember getting the Aladdin soundtrack for Christmas, and to this day know all the words to every song.

I am old!!! I remember watching the Aladin parade in MGM and being amazed. It was awesome!!! Little Mermaid is even older that that!! It is funny how the Princesses I loved as a child, my daughter loves know, and they are still "new" :lovestruc

I thought the same thing when I read the Jafar post, seems like it was just yesterday!

I must have seen the same one! While he sounded like Peter, it was very creepy. My mom saw the picture after I had taken it and is a bit creeped out by it. It was an all around creepy experience. I said creepy three times, but if it's the same Peter, you'd understand. :rotfl:

My best and worst experiences were with the Power Rangers.
First, I am a HUGE fan of the Rangers, and I was bouncing around like a little kid when I got to meet them! Best part of any Disney vacation I ever had! :cheer2:

But the Green Ranger was trying to pose me. Im not a fan of being touched by strangers...its just not my thing, and the actual pose, some kind of karate stance, was really awkward and looked wiered in the picture. I was kind of disappointed that my picture sucked so badly.
After I had gotten my pic with the rest of the Rangers, I went back for a better pic with the Green one. I was by myself, so I went to give my camera to the CM that was with him. When he saw that I was back, he kind of gave me some attitude. While I was handing him my camera, a mother and her daughter were walking toward the ranger, and he yelled at them to wait there turn. I would have been fine letting them go ahead, and I just thought it was unneccesary considering I was a 19 year old, and the kid couldn't have been more than 6. Anyway, I got a better pic, and the day was saved.

I think we met the same Peter back in January. He must have had a cold, he kept rubbing his nose and sniffing. My daughter found him "creepy".

I was nursing my infant (she was under a blanket) outside the Buzz ride and Stitch came over and pulled up the blanket. "He" was quite surprised when I politely told him why he shouldn't do that.
