Mine was a 1966 Impala......which by the time I owned it ('78)was only a $50 car! It was blue with a lot of rust!!!:p :teeth:

What's weird is our latest brand new car is a '04 Impala!!!:D

In 1997 my parents bought me the one and only car I didn't want. A blue 1987 Cutlass Ciera.

My car was an old Plymoth Fury III. It was big and brown, but had a killer engine. I bought it myself, but had a little help with the engine.
It would zoom, zoom nicely. :teeth:

1st car: a 66' Buick Special(let boyfriend drive it.... into a pole!)
2nd car: A Chevy Vega....what a lemon that was!
3rd. car: Olds Cutlass Supreme....convertible! (Now that was an awesome car...yellow with a black top-what cruising we did :) ...sold it-the fellow that bought it, refinished it....baby blue with a white top-looked better than when I had it!)

Those were light years ago....now I'm a SUV gal!

'91 red Toyota Corolla

1984 Subaru. Baby blue with a sunroof.

A chevy nova. My dad fixed it up for me and painted it corvette metallic silver. Loved that car. My nickname in hs was nova girl.

Gold '71 Dogde Demon bought it for $50.00 drove it for 3 years and put $150.00 worth of work into it in 3 years.....looked lousy but it couldn't be killed.

Next car was Brown '75 Chev Camero....loved that car!!!

Little spoiled here....

My first car was in 87. It was 1986 Mustang GT, 5 Speed.
I was 16 years old.

I took great care of that car. I had it till 1998. When I sold it it had 150k miles on it and still ran like a champ!!

That was my first car too. I bought it in 1983 and owned it until around 1987, when I ran it into a guard rail on the freeway (avoiding an idiot who was changing lanes without looking. I was actually car number three in a four car chain reaction). It was still driveable, but both fenders were totally smashed in (bounced off the guard rail on my left into a car on my right). I was still able to sell it for $200 to someone that wanted the engine (I had paid $600 for the car). It required almost no maintanance, and even made the drive from Seattle to Houston with no problem. Mechanically, it was still running great when the accident happened.

Ok, are you ready?

Sitting down?

Ready for a good laugh?

1976 Pinto Station Wagon. No, it never exploded.
Next...1978 Grand LeMans Station Wagon. That one did explode on I-95.
Third. Honda Accord. Had it one day. New Years Day. Parking brake failed at the top of a tall hill while parked. Knocked over a stop sign, various lawn lights, 2 small trees, a very nice garden and the fence that kept it from going into the community pool (Which, I admit, would have paid good money to see.) Cracked the windshield, gas tank, lost both mirrors, broke two lights, dented hood. I actually drove it home. After I got home, it never started again.

There's more car tragedy, but that's enough dontchathink?

A 1968 puke two-tone green Chrysler Newport. I bought it in 1975 and it cost me a whopping $250!!!!!! We called the big green boat!!!!!

1980 Chevy Chevette...It'll drive you happy. I got in 1982. It was a great car...originally owned by the department of agriculture...
Was nice and functional. Don't know why I traded it in now... Next car I bought brand new...Chevy Spectrum...what a piece of junk. Then got another junker...1987 or 1988 LeBaron...bought it used off my brother around 1990. Replaced it in 94 with an Isuzu Amigo...loved that truck. Followed by a 97 Wrangler which I still have and I have a 2004 Vibe...so far so good on that.
