What was your most disappointing ride?

1. Any playground. I don't pay all that money to go to the playground. We can do that at home.
2. Dinoland except for Dinosaur. Yes I know they did it on purpose. But that doesn't change the fact that they totally messed up and it's beneath Disney Standards. Rip out the cheap asphalt and redo the entire area. Not only is it junky, but it has an infernal playground in it too!!!! And AK is otherwise such a beautiful park. That makes it all the bigger an eyesore.
3. World Showcase. Nothing more than a glorified shopping mall and eatery.

Not bad but definitely disappointing for me are Soarin and TSM. Not worth the hype IMO.

Sounds Dangerous (technically not a ride, but still disappointing), and there's no way I would stand in a 1+ hour line for any of the Fantasyland rides. It's not that they're disappointing, it's just waiting so long in line for such short rides.

I've always been disappointed by TSMM. It's ok but I guess I just don't see the hype about it, plus since its so hyped up its a total pain to try and ride it, And I think it's kinda whippy.

Country Bears is awful. This disappointed me because its a "classic" and I wanted to love it but I barely made it through.

I actually love Figment's ride, is it because I never saw the original?

Great Movie Ride has become such a disappointment. Does anything work in here anymore? (Gangsters' car, Alien alien, etc.) And I'm sorry, but a woman should never play "Mugsy"! "Bonnie", perhaps, and even THAT kinda destroys the illusion, but never "Mugsy".

Universe of Energy....

Then they decided to "humor it up" by putting Ellen DeGeneres in it. Now I like Ellen, but seriously? If you want to keep her as a part of the pre-show, fine. But I liked to original version of that as well. (Plus I used to like the catchy "Universe of Energy" song.... they took that away too.)

I think to many times they try and "add something new and improved" and it just doesn't work....

Never been on Kali, but to me, spinning around and getting soaked... doesn't sound like much fun if you ask me. Then again, we wouldn't attempt it as my DH get's motion sickness. So getting wet and hurled upon... not a good combination.

I guess I'm sort of a "classics" sort of person... don't try to spice up an old ride as all you do is loose the integrity of the original vision.

ok, that's my $.02 worth....

Didn't they finally put us out of (a small portion of, anyway) our misery and close Sounds Dangerous?

For me it is Soarin' I was so disapointed with it. I stood in line for 75 minutes and I was underwhelmed, especially since everyone I talked to had said it was an amazing ride. It just didn't do it for me. I think it needs an update.

I felt the same way the first time I rode it too, but it's grown on me!

Disney's got a few duds. The Treehouse in MK is a waste of space. I bet those who have said there's no space wasters in MK walked right past it without even reailzing it's an attraction! :rotfl2:

Aww no, I love that Treehouse!

Didn't they finally put us out of (a small portion of, anyway) our misery and close Sounds Dangerous?

::yes:: It's used for the Jedi Training Academy

I personally liked Stitch. But to each his own, I suppose. :confused3

Now, my greatest let down... Soarin'. I was so disappointed. It needs some sort of redo. I don't get the hype.

I was disappointed with the Pooh ride. I couldn't understand why the wait was so long and we got a FP for it. I'm sure glad we didn't wait an hour in line for what it was!

My youngest daughter gave The Boneyard a thumbs down. She was very disappointed with it and thought it was boring.

I thought I was the only one who didn't like the Pooh ride. That's one I don't have any interest in riding again even with a FP.

I'm dissapointed to hear all the negative reviews of Kali River Rapids. I've never done it on our past AK visits and was really looking forward to trying it this next time. I guess maybe I shouldn't get my hopes too high.

I've also never done the Stitch ride, but just might have to after reading all of these posts. Now I feel like I have to ride it, just to see what makes it so bad!

Last time we were in Disney I was disappointed by Small World. Traditionally, it's one of my favorites, but since it's "refurb" last year I feel like it was trashed. There are lots of places that are empty where I swear there used to be stuff. Additionally, in places where there are blank walls, the paint job is really shoddy with lots of streaks and brush marks. Many of the props are dusty. It makes me wonder what the heck they refurbished!

I never got the hype with Soarin'. It's cool, but not 120 minute wait cool, as it gets at peak times still.

My top 5 disappointments:

1. Soarin'
2. Stitch
3. Dino Carnival Area
4. New Bigtop Area in MK (Although I love everything about the rest of NFL)
5. Hall of Presidents (I actually like this show. It's cool, but I always think it's American Adventure when I go in, which is one of my faves!)

The Gran Fiesta Tour in Epcot in Mexico. Three Caballeros are dorky.
They should have left it as El Río del Tiempo.

The Living Seas was ruined too with Finding Nemo.

Yeah, I still loves me some iasw, but it's certainly seen better days and could use some TLC.

I can hoestly say I have never been disappionted by a Disney attraction.

Some are better then others and personal taste governs opinion...but never disappionted.
