What Was Your Longest Stay?

16 nights split between BWV/BCV. This year is our standard 10 days.

We did ten night stay in August 2007 and a ten night stay in October 2015.

We could've stayed longer both times! I need a money tree!

Our summer stays are typically 12-13 nights. On these trips we feel extremely relaxed, with 5-6 pool half days which we enjoy immensely, even when staying at Value resorts. The slow non-commando pace with non-park time worked in definitely feels like a vacation.

We also usually work in a 2nd shorter trip either for Thanksgiving or Dec break for 8-9 nights. We tend to limit pool time on those, preferring instead to be in the parks. On those trips we get swept into the high energy of the holiday atmosphere which also feels relaxed but in a different way.

We've got our longest trip planned for this October, 9 nights. 5 at the dolphin and 4 at AK. We are really excited we normally do 6 nts. So this sounds awesome.

Excited to have a longer trip, enjoy the resorts esp the 2bdrm villa we'll have at kidani and kids pool/splash area there.

We own our own business so it's hard for us to be away too many business days, so this feels extra special for us and our kids! So looking forward to a more relaxing vacation!

We are staying for 10 nights at CBR in June. This trip will be our longest so far. We typically do 7 day trips.

Our longest stays have been 10 nights/ 11 days. It's long enough to go at a slower pace and allow yourself rest time and pool times as our kids always want.

We did that for about 3 years in a row but then in 2015, we had another baby so that year we only did 7 nights just to see how he would travel (he was only 3 months old). We would like to work our way back up to 10, and last month we did 8 nights with the baby being 15 months old (with lots of moving around, from AOA to Disney Dream to GF). So next year will definitely be 9 nights, maybe 10....:)

32 days, split between the monorail resorts. It was a long time ago, so I was pretty little and don't remember every detail. My parents were having a large portion of our house rebuilt because of a fire so while my dad was handling that, our mom and my grandparents kept us at Disney the entire time. We had APs and went to a park usually every day for a couple of hours and did a lot of hanging around the resorts and swimming. The thing I remember the most is the CMs working at the resorts knew my family very well and knew about our home situation and they created a lot of magic for me and my siblings while we were there.

This made me smile. A home fire would be so traumatic, especially for the kids. What a great way to re-group and make lemonade out of lemons. Thank you for sharing your experience.

8 nights in Nov 2015. It was our honeymoon so we spent 5 nights at Caribbean Beach and splurged on 3 nights at AKL so that we could try a deluxe since it was a special occasion. I still feel like we didn't have enough time because we did the DDP and felt like we were constantly eating.

We did 10 days/9 nights for our honeymoon. We have 11 nights booked this trip (plus 2 travel nights). We want to do MNSSHP and MVMCP plus be there for both our girls' birthdays, but I think by the day we leave we are going to be DONE.

Our trip coming up is 14 nights- 1 in clearwater, 2 at the legoland hotel, 5 at Four Seasons, and 6 at the GF. (so 11 nights/12 days at Disney proper). We tend to have 'relaxed' Disney time just doing the morning in the parks. The time at the Four Seasons, DH is at a conference so I am solo with the 2 kids. We are only planning 10 days in the park. We will do universal 1 day and have a pool/downtown disney day. DH offered one more night, but I said we should get home.

Even with all that I think we could do longer. I've started planning the days and we will not get through everything. Due to food allergies we have 2 TS each day. Lots of character meals. DS loves Tom Sawyer Island and could spend an hour there. We do a loose schedule and then see. I'm sooooo looking forward as are the kids. (have a 7 year old, and a 2 year old). It is really a dream trip for the 7 year old. He really wants to go to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and we are doing that for 2 days. Then, legoland for 3 (he can spend 8 hours working on legos). Then, of course, Disney. Lucky boy.

I'm having some serious vacation envy! Does everyone mostly stay at Disney or visit Universal and Sea World too? If money was no object I think 15 days would be a perfect number for us.

Last August was our longest stay - 15 nights (2 nights RO at Beach Club and 13 nights bounceback free dining POFQ)

Coming up August trip - 15 nights (4 nights RO Contemporary, 4 nights RO Beach Club, 7 nights bounceback free dining PORS) ... plus one night to start vacation at MCO Hyatt - we love staying here (rooftop pool, the next morning we get up refreshed and board the Magical Express).

I wondering if some of these posts are offsite?

13 nts onsite between AKL/FW. This doesn't include the nights we also stayed at DTD.

We never stay off site. Just not our thing.

Our 10 nights have been at WL CL, YC CL, and BC CL.

Next year we are planning on 10 nights Poly CL. Can't wait!!! (And we just got back from 8 nights last month!!!) :cloud9:

Our first trip as a family with DH and two children was 19 days. Since then we go anywhere from 3 to 11 days. I like 8-9 days best.

We are doing Legoland for 1 day (water park there is closed or we would have done2 days) this trip but we've never ventured beyond Disney before this trip. We want to visit Universal at some point, but with 2 young kids it's not worth it since they won't be tall enough for most for a while.

the longest Disney trip we had was 3 nights on the dream followed by 10 nights at WDW.
This year we are staying 9 nights but it's our first time driving down so the trip will be 13 nights in total.

9 nights at AKL and it was perfect! We pushed pretty hard the first couple of days out of excitement but then slowed down the rest of the trip and it was great. We went to the parks every day (and Typhoon Lagoon which I wasn't impressed with) and checked out Disney Springs. We loved AKL and spent some time sitting around on our balcony watching the animals. Our previous trip was 7 nights and we missed so much we realized. We never realized how much there was to do at AK until this last trip, it was amazing.

For me, when I do Disney trips it's just Disney. We did one trip to Universal for a week at PBH - that was one and done for me really. One trip we did just Sea World and Discovery Cove (had Super Grover passes); loved Discovery Cove but Sea World was also one and done.

I have a friend that always did 3 days at Universal staying at one of their hotels then would move over to Disney and do a week there.
