I and my six old nephew had a good time assisting with weeding and planting, as well with other activities at Shollenberger Park, which is a wetlands restoration/people/dog walking park in Petaluma, Ca. this past Saturday.
The turn out was great, and one group of participants came from as far as Sacramento. Everyone was busily either pulling weeds, planting, or assisting in other ways. It was the type of project that six old children were able to participate in, which is nice, so everyone had a job. Matter of fact, there were children that did more work in comparison to some of the adults.

We both became filthy, but we don't care, for like I always say, you can only become so dirty, then so what....ha!.... It is like getting wet in the rain, you can only become so wet. Although it would be nice to be waterproof!

We are interested in continuing to assist with the endeavors of the parks volunteer organization, which is PWA, which stands for The Petaluma Wetlands Alliance. Matter of fact, my nephew asked me if we were going to be coming back tomorrow (Sunday) that was cute
