What was your first??? Not just a pin question

What was your first Disney Item... That you said wow I would like to collect these and did? I would say that mine was Coffee Mugs. I just love some of the artwork that is done on them...

So how about you?

Well my collection started right about the time of my divorce from my ex. He was never a Disney person, we had our biggest fight because he wanted to go to WDW with his single friends and I wanted to take the kids. I won, but he left. Oh well, I don't think I lost much did I, he has never been back to WDW since and I have gone so many times that I can't even count anymore.
I started collecting Mickeys on my first trip. I started with a few small ones, then went larger and larger. I couldn't tell you which was my "first" but I might just be able to tell you where I bought each one. anyone want to come over, I counted over 200 the last time I dusted.
From Mickey I went to snowglobes, then pins. I have quite a few mugs too Matt, but Mickey will always be my favorite.

My first Disney item was bought for me in 1976 it was a bucket hat that had my name sewn onto the brim of the hat. It had the 70's style Disney lettering on it with the mickey head as a globe in the middle of the "D" (Disney should go back to that lettering style) if I remember correctly it had a red feather in it.

Gee-whiz I miss that hat.
