What was your first DVC Merch purchase?

Bought a couple shirts with the saratoga logo on the front and dvc member since 2021 on the back from the shopdisney website.

Haven't bought a lot of dvc specific stuff, do have a nice tervis tumbler that has logos for a lot of the resorts on it. Sold it a year or two ago before the recent one they have now.

For our first purchase, we both bought the white and blue DVC MagicBand. I really like the World with Ears logo.

I really want the old white slider with that blue logo to put on my older MB if I decide to rotate.

Yes, but I only found them to be available in MDE if you have an existing trip booked. The pre-arrival price was $35 for the MB+ one.

There used to be very nice resort-specific polo type shirts for men and resort-specific polo or better t-shirt style shirts for women - small resort logo, resort colors, etc. But haven't seen anything as nice in a long time. Everything seems to be thin cheap fabric, oversized, flashy colors.

Each resort still carries resort specific polo shirts, but the brand polo shirt they embroider differs depending on the property. When you start paying attention to it, you notice a correlation.

The cheapest resort polos will be Disney polos.
In the middle, polos will be made by Vineyard Vines or Tommy Bahama.
On the highest end, the polos will be made by Peter Millar.

In the past, shopDisney online sold cheaper Nike resort specific polos but they were screen printed.

We’re at VDH and there’s a cool (albeit pricey!) black DVC zip up hoodie with a glow in the dark logo on the back - it’s fun! I’ve never seen it before!

So far nothing home resort specific, but that will change soon lol. I bought at the Outlet this year the 2025 Blue sweatshirt, the grey 2025 t shirt, another t shirt, The pink/red DVC ears, and then for our Christmas trip I bought the red quarter zip, the green Home shirt, the new magic band +, and a DVC member spirit jersey sweater off Mercari. We just purchased in January Copper Creek. Off Etsy I did buy Magic Band charms that say DVC and Wilderness Lodge.

Our first purchase was a Villas at Grand Floridian pin we got opening week when we stayed for the first time. It is one of my favorite things. We were also given the Mickey and Minnie picture on the beach outside the VGF building and framed it. For my birthday this year my DD found the limited Donald and Daisy picture on the beach outside the VGF. They are some of my favorite items.

I have the clutch shoulder bag version of the original GF loungefly and my DD has the larger handbag. We both agree the original design was far superior to the current design. In fact DD and I finally decided to buy a Loungefly backpack this trip and we both couldn't justify the GF bag as we felt the new design was not as good. She ended up with a Stitch and Angel Loungefly and I got the Winnie the Pooh Loungefly. In the end Disney still got our money.

I have some resort specific stuff from all of the resorts we own at (shirts, ornaments, etc.) including the VGF loungefly that Genie+ has above (which I get so many compliments on), but I only have the below sweatshirt that is specifically DVC and I haven't had a chance to wear it yet.

I was a little reluctant to use it because it’s so cute and I was afraid to ruin it lol. Now it’s been used the last 3 trips and happy to say held up perfectly! Getting stuffed into roller coasters, carried around in the park rain, and using it as my travel purse for WDW flights. It’s a trooper! Still looks brand new. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on one single item. CMs especially seem to love it. The only merch that’s come close in that area:



This T-shirt i bought in 2019. Like the bag it’s even prettier in person. I wore this shirt out and was soooo happy to find a new condition one on Mercari for $5 this year. Win!
