What was your favorite Christmas present?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Now that most presents have been opened, please share something with us about your favorite gift(s), given as well as received.


Mine? Oh yeah. We opened our big present early: tickets to see the Temptations (what a show!) was our gift to our best friends and ourselves, and they surprised us with a fantastic lobster dinner for 4 shipped in overnight from Maine! Dinner at 6, show at 8, what a night!

What was really nice is that each couple was a part of the other couples gift.

Believe it or not, mine is a zip up gray sweatshirt from the Disney Store with the original 1928 Mickey on the breast. I actually almost cried (OK, I'm a little emotional!)

DH order tivo for me, it was installed yesterday. His other gift to me was a lovely long chenille robe. I have always wanted a chenille robe. Have to admit, he definitely surprised me this year. Have to wait until we get to the daughter's this afternoon to get my other gifts.

My mother got me that huge "Pirates of the Caribbean" carboard cutout from the Disney Store. Yay! I absolutly love it! It's going on my wall.

I have yet to see what my boyfriend got me.

Oh I also got "Breakfast at Tiffanys"

Its not even 7 AM here... no presents opened yet... but 3 of the 5 kids who are awake are starting to get restless!

It's the perfect size, cut to make a lens for my telescope project!

I also got the materials to sand it down.

I got other stuff to, like a swimsuit and a new swim bag!

So far my fav is the Elph Z3 camera I got! (traditional, not dig.)
But I'm going to myt boyfriends around 6 so he'll probably top that!

DH got me a bracelet with sapphires that look like Mickey heads between curvy silver links. It's really neat!!! He also got me a under cabinet radio/cd player for the kitchen. Our oldest DS/DDIL and DGD's got us tickets for Blue Man Group but their presentation was great. DDIL had DS cut out three blue man shapes out of construction paper and put them in a card and we had to figure out what they represented. DH, DB and myself are going when we decide on a date. We open gift on Christmas Eve and it was a great Christmas so far!!!!!

Although he wasn't supposed to get me anything since we just bought a house this past June and we went to Disney for 5 days.

My parents got me the most amazing gifts this year! Nick and Nora flannel pjs, Burberry gloves, a Burberry hat, and a J'adore Dior shirt.

My boyfriend got me earrings from Tiffany's and a diamond heart bracelet.

I made out incredibly well this year

So far, I love my WDW Annual Pass and all of my new tool toys: A Mouse Sander, a new Cordless Screwdriver, a Rotary Tool and lots of accessories, and the Strait Line Laser Level and Stud Finder Combo Kit that my DBF almost got mugged in the store for!

I got a sewing machine! I have wanted to learn how to sew for a while and now that we are househunting, i'm going to want to be able to make my own window treatments and pillows and stuff. I also want to learn how to quilt!

My wife gave a beautiful Citizen's Mickey Mouse watch. That, along w/ The Pirates of the Caribbean DVD and two CD's (the Steve Miller Band's "Greatest Hits" and Steve Winwood's "Back in the High Life,"), makes me so thankful for such a great family and good friends. Merry Christmas to all!
