What was your childs favorite part of your Disney Vacation?

All three of my children say that their fave part of WDW was when Tink flew off the castle. They wer only 1.5, 2.5 and 4 at the time but it made a very strong impression in their minds. we are going back in Nov. and bringing youngest DS (he'll turn 2 at Disney!!!) and the first thing that my youngest DD requested was seeing Tink fly off the castle the 1st night. I swear that she is obsessed with Tink!!LOL

When we took our trip in 2003, my dd's were 10 and 61/2. We wanted to all ride Kali River Rapids together but my girls(who don't like rollercoasters or really fast fast rides) wouldn't budge. I think they were afraid it was going to do some big Splash Mountain-type dip. After several sessions of bribing
I finally got them to go. (Not too long after that my 10 yr old rode Splash Mntn, too!)

Now it is their favorite ride! I think they are so proud that they conquered their fears and got on that they tell everybody they love that ride....
For my son, who is 2 1/2, he really was too little to know much on our last trip last May but he giggled alot when we took him on the teacups :flower:

My DDs (4) have been twice and both times they loved the monorail. Last year they were totally captivated by the princesses. However, they were also totally captivated by the tiny lizards that are everywhere in the parks and the Poly! They even wanted to take 2 home for pets! However, when a CM told me that we would probably have 100 lizards by the time we got home to Jersey, I quicky diverted their attention to some other souveniers!! :rotfl2: . Everytime my daughter Ashlyn sees a Pooh somewhere she retells the story from last year at the Crystal Palace. She was wearing a Pooh T-shirt and Pooh ran over, pointed at her shirt jumped up and down, and gave her a big hug and a high five! Then she helped Pooh lead the "It's My Special Day" parade, because it was her and her sister's birthday (my other DD was too shy to participate). BUT, their favorite thing/memory was last year at Chef Mickey's, when Goofy snuck up behind Grandma, causing her to jump about 2 feet off of her chair :scared1: Good thing my mom has a strong heart! She has yet to live that down, a year later. My DDs ALWAYS manage to bring that up and it's always good for a laugh, especially if we are somewhere out to dinner with Grandma!! :rotfl:

My kids favorites were
dd (had 2nd bday at disney)- Crystal palace especially piglet. The characters were great and they got alot of attention.
dd 11- pin trading, she was practically stalking the cast members and watching the fireworks and the witch come down from the castle on halloween
my dh's brother who was 13- pin trading, buzz lightyear, and space mountain

the 2 oldest also loved the pool, the 2 yo never really got a chance to use it since by time we got back to the hotel she was tired- next time we will schedule a whole day just to hang at the hotel

We all loved hoop de doo revue even the 2 yr old. My dh used to see it when he was a kid and convinced me to go. I thought it would be cheesy but we all loved it. Anything that can get an 11yo and 13yo laughing so hard they could pee themselves is worth the money and it is definately on our do again list.

Whenever I ask my daughter what her favorite part of our trip was she always says the fountains at the Polynesian. On our way to Captain Cook's for supper on our first night there we walked past them. My daughter saw them and then looked at me with an excited smile. I took one look at her and said, "Go ahead." She took off skipping through the water in her dress. It was what she looked forward to every day at Disney World.

For my DS (3) Wishes. we were there for 11 days last July and watched Wishes 10 times. By the time we left he could sing the closing song, he still goes to sleep listening to the coundtrack at night.

The best day of our last trip had the potential of being the worst. DH had offered to "load the stroller," which I assumed meant putting all our park gear in the bottom compartment. Nope, he just opened it and got the kids "loaded in" -- all our rain gear stayed in the car. It was August. Of course it rained. DD5 had the BEST time running and jumping and splashing in the puddles.

When the rain let up, DS2 spent at least 1/2 hour mesmerized by the train set in Germany.
