I bought some Keen Newports yesterday. Strange looking sandals, but very comfortable and waterproof. And the salesman told me to throw them in the washing machine if they get dirty!
$85, but if my feet don't hurt at the end of the day, they will be worth every penny!

There are a few other blister pad products that I can get to stink long enough, usually, to make it through the day. I just have to lay out a small fortune to get them....but, back to the shoes. 
Also, how are they without socks?

This is so funny that I decided to read about what shoes to wear. A few weeks ago I bought a pair of saucony running shoes. Love them. Don't do well with real thin socks though I got a blister the other day. I found that golf socks are great. They are renforced in the heel.
I play and ya know they have great golf sandels which are meant for a lot of walking and you can just take out the rubber spikes. The other funny thing is
