What type of washing machines in BWV?

Are the washers in the BWV villas these days HE or standard? Just wondering if HE detergent is required.

In the rooms? I think regular. I stayed in a studio in October and used the laundry room. They were front loaders, I brought HE pods.

I bring All detergent brand for sensitive skin pods that are safe for he also, and also my own dryer sheets, easy to pack.

Washers are simple to use, don't think they're he currently.

The"in unit" washers and dryers (in refurbished 1 bed and larger villas) are the stacked variety and NOT HE.

Don't think we've ever used those in the villa laundry room.

The washers in the shared laundry rooms are usually HE. Disney provides a green detergent in the rooms (one bedroom and larger) now. Not Tide, not All.

Crappy old stackables in the villas units. They provide just 1 box (for 1 load) of detergent. Used to provide 2 and refresh on trash and towel day, but no more of that. I bring the little pods and some dryer sheets.

Never got two boxes for a one bedroom. Maybe a two bedroom or a grand villa, but never a one bedroom. In 19 years of ownership.

OKW has full size 'standard' washer/dryer, not the stackable units in the other resorts.

That is interesting. We used to always get 2 boxes in our BWV 1 bedroom. Recently it has been 1 box but we bring our own Shaklee so it didn't matter to us.

Yeah, we also did a 1BR for the first few years of ownership (bought in 2006) and always got 2 boxes. BWV, OKW, VWL, HHI and SSR were the places we did a 1BR from 2006 to 2009.

Add us to the list that have several years of 1 bedroom stays at the BWV (at least annually since 1999). We have NEVER received two boxes - it's always been 1, and only sometimes did we get another one with Trash 'n Towel service. We bring our own, so it didn't matter to us.
