I'm working with a DU agent (cross those fingers ;) ). What type of room should I shoot for?

My DS #2 will be celebrating a birthday while we are there. As always...want to balance 'magic' and 'money'

We always book a standard room because all we do is sleep there. This past summer we had room 6060 which is a standard that overlooks the loading docks, but we could see the castle and watched the fireworks from our balcony. Courtyard is also nice but for us, not worth the extra money. It really is more of a personal choice though, depending on how much balance you need. The rooms are the same, just the view from the balcony is different unless you move to a suite.

Not sure what time of year you are going, but if it's during a slower month I would book a standard.
We booked a standard for our end of August trip and were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to courtyard view since the resort was not fully booked.
My favority view is courtyard, but to save money I would always book standard or woods.
I dont think you could wrong with the WL in any view.

Thanks guys :D

The DU agent actually said the standard rooms are booked (the week before Pres Week) and she has a hold on a 'woods view'. What does that mean? I keep hearing 'courtyard', but I haven't seen 'woods'.

Anyone? ;)

I just got back from a "woods" view room which consisted of 2 trees to partially obscure a driveway.

It was also on the 5th floor above Whispering Canyon and the noise was really annoying. I wound up not spending as much time relaxing in my room as I would of liked because of it.

We had a great woods view room at WLK - #2004 - end of the long hallway on the North Side - it was quiet, had a full woods view and an oblique of the drainage/otter pond and was just down the stairs to the boat launch path and close to the pool as well

Thanks
