What type of living quarters do you live in?

We live in a 3 story townhouse.

I live in a two story tudor style home most of the time,

I also live in a 3 story lodge like town home while in Vail and a two bedroom high rise condo in Destin, florida.

We live in a ranch that we have added on to once. We would really like to remodel or build a house though. But alas currently we shall just remain as we are.:)

When we bought this house back in 1994 it was a starter home. The entire development (18 houses) was brand new. House had 2bedrooms, 2 baths, living/dining, kitchen.
We added on in 1996 (raised the roof) and added 2 more bedrooms and a 3rd bath upstairs. At the same time we finished off the basement.

Plain old brick ranch with light yellow trim and green shutters and doors w/ a garage.
When we move to Orlando what I want is a bright patio home with stucco instead of brick.

We have a circa 1970's ranch with garage and full basement underneath (finished off a couple of rooms in the basement). Just now getting around to remodeling. It needs it really bad - we have a "Brady Bunch" kitchen - dark brown cabinets with orange, yes orange, counters finished off with a yellow sink and stove top  . It's quite bright. Unfortunately, it will probably be the last room done as we're starting at the far end of the hall with the master bath - I don't even want to describe that!

Very large 3 level Williamsburg Colonial out in the country.

we live in a side by side duplex house with 2 floors.

tricia.

130 year old Queen Anne style house with lots of gorgeous woodwork and stained glass windows in every room.

our house, in the middle of our street
our house...
;)

We have a mid-level management type 2 story colonial with a basement. Kind of a boring basic house. 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two car garage, 1/3 acre, finished basement.

What I really want is a reproduction style colonial of similar size but on 2 acres. Hopefully someday.

I was waiting for you to answer about your log home, Diane!!

Bballmom 56.....LOL on your Brady Bunch kitchen!!!:teeth: We have the dark, dark brown cabinets, too!! Definetly must have been a 70s thing!

We have a 2500 sq ft split foyer that I love, on 4 acres in the country. DH built it himself and we raised our 4 children here. It is too big for us now that we're retired and have an empty nest, but full of happy memories and we'd hate to leave. :goodvibes

We are moving on the 26 to our new pad!!! It is a 2bed room two bath apartment. It is gorgeous!! 1850 sq. ft. , all hard wood floors, cathedral ceilings, two fireplaces, bar, and garden tub in master bath. It is a gated community featuring duck ponds, fitness trails, six swimming pools, volleyball court, and tennis court. I can't wait till the 26. We do not want to buy a house yet because we do not plan on living in Kenner, La. forever. We have to move because My fi got accepted at Tulane and I am going to let him finish before I do.

Dh and I own a 1902 Victorian with a huge rounded wrap a round porch that I love. The house has 13 rooms and 3 full baths. It was converted to a 2 family somewhere in the 1940's so we rent out the first floor and have the 2nd and 3rd floors for our living quarters. It is a nice house in a great neighborhood. I would love to expand our kitchen as it is a little small but for all the cooking I do;) it works fine.
