I posted something similar on the CB but didn't really get any help!
My camera is starting to die. So it is time to look for a new one. I don't want digital or APS I want a good point and shoot, timer, date and a zoom lens at least to 120.
I am looking at a Konica Zup 150. It seems nice and a good price. But I have always had a Minolta and my current camera is an Olympus Styles 38-80 I love it but I to replace it with a bigger zoom it will be over $250.
So HELP!

I have the Minolta Freedom Zoom - 125. I absolutely love it. They have the 140 zoom out now for about the same price I paid ($250). It's light weight, has red-eye reduction, date, timer, force flash, all auto or some manual options, but really simple to use. Good luck deciding. I shopped around for several months and love what I chose.

I have an Olympus Stylus zoom 140 DIX and I absolutely LOVE IT!! The pictures are wonderful. Why I purchased this not only because my previous Olympus was a great camera but this camera while not water proof it is water resistant. I love the way it fits in my hand.

I like my cannon sure shot with 120 zoom.

A tip on buying the camera...I checked several local discount stores before buying mine and found that on just about every make and model that they carried Target was cheaper than Wal-Mart or Kmart. They were $10-$15 cheaper on all the models that run $100-$200. HTH

Thanks everyone. I am still looking. I really think I like the Konica one. I want to look a little more. It has night vision which would be neat to have had when the kids were babies and sleeping!
Keli, thanks for the tip about Target I never thought to look there. I have been doing a lot of price shopping online.
