i love the mickey pretzels with cheese myself. what are favorite disneyland treats that you all think people should not miss while they are there?

I love the monte cristo there...but dont pay 22 bucks at bb...get it at cafe orleans for cheaper!

And beignets are great too!

The corn dogs are yummy!!

Dole pineapple whip float for sure!!

Gosh I wish I could eat there now but have to wait until April...boo :(

Oh boy! Here are my families favorite treats:

churros
apple pie caramel apple
dole whip
hunny pot rice krispie treat
corndogs

I love that big, messy cinnamon roll, along with a blended mocha, at Blue Ribbon Bakery. I see that they sell strawberry shortcake, too, so I look forward to sampling that in a few weeks. I also love the pineapple spears sold in the carts. Love the Matterhorn Sundae at Carnation Cafe.

This past trip we made a new discovery- peanut brittle! :thumbsup2

My DH got it and I just thought "ehh" and wasn't that thrilled with buying it...until I tasted it. It just turned out to be very tasty. It is sold in chunks in bags in the stores on Main Street. It is a good snack that you can carry around and it won't melt or get cold.

Chocolate filled croissants at blue ribbon bakery (do they still have them?) with a hot chocolate or a mocha. (Can you tell I love chocolate??)

I also love getting veggies and ranch and watching swing dancers at carnation plaza (or whatever it's called.)

Chocoalte topped Rice Krispy Treats!

We found ourselves getting one everyday to enjoy back at the hotel at night before bed.

Yum! Yum! :cloud9:

Corndogs (yummy!!), smores from Marcelline's, sugar cookies (but not the Mickey face ones because the icing is blech), and the garlic parmesan pommes frites from Cafe Orleans:thumbsup2

Churros
Pomme frittes at Cafe Orleans
Churros
Beignets at Cafe Orleans
Churros
Corn dogs
Churros
Peanut butter cup fudge
Churros
Rice crispy treats
Churros

Did I mention churros?! ;)

My kids are still talking about this....

At the Blue Bayou the Flying Dutchman Cookie boat is delicous!

We only ate dessert at the Blue Bayou this time and it is worth every penny! I think it is $8.99 but oh it is great! It is enough for 2 or more!

Yum!

On the healthy side here is another vote for Dole Whip and the fresh mango slices too.

Tigger Tails from the Hunny Pot :thumbsup2 (though I can only handle a couple of bites, they're so rich... so we share!)

DD5 with her first Tigger Tail:

I always have to get a Mint Julep!

And a chocolate covered Mickey Mouse pretzel from Candy Palace!

We are leaving for DL (first time) on Friday. Been to WDW 22 times, and never thought the churros were that good. Are they different at DL?

Also need suggestion for best quick service lunch/dinner locations??
Thanks!

For snacks I really love:
Popcorn (it is so yummy and buttery) with a Diet Coke
Churro
Just about everything from Pooh's corner, but my fav is the smores thingy, DH's fav is the marshmellows on a stick dipped in carmel and chocolate
Ice Cream from Gibson Girls Ice Cream Parlor
Dole Whip
Hot chocolate

I really want to try the cinnamon roll but sometimes the frosting is kind of plasticy instead of yummy and gooey and I'm not willing to spend $5 to see if it is the good frosting or the bad.

Counter Service:
Hungry Bear
Stage Door Cafe (chicken strips and fries)

At the Blue Bayou the Flying Dutchman Cookie boat is delicous!

Sooooo good!

My personal favorite: At the end of Main Street there is a Coffee / Cappuccino cart that has THE most amazing brownies. One of those while watching Fantastic and I am a happy little Disney goer for the night.

Also, the fudge from the candy store on Main Street is mmm mmm good.
