What treats should people NOT miss while at Disneyland?

Hmm....

At Disneyland I would not miss:
* Dole whip or Dole Whip float
* Turkey legs
* The skewers at Bengal BBQ, especially bacln wrapped asparagus
* Mickey shaped Beignets with the creme anglaise dipping sauce
* Frozen lemonade cups, great to beat the heat in long lines, like Nemo
* Vanilla coke at Princess Fantasy Faire area, so good and so much like the old fashioned kind. I get one there with a pretzel and cheese while resting, and then another as we head back out!

At DCA I would not miss:
* Corn dogs, yes it has been posted many times but they are sooooo good.
* Blood Orange sorbet dessert at the Wine Country Trattoria
* Sliced Mango at the Farmer's Market, soooo good everytime

Don't forget some fudge from Marcelline's in DTD! :-) Especially the Pumpkin if it is in season.

Chocolate croissants at Blue Ribbon Bakery
Mickey ice cream sandwich
Mickey rice krispie treat
Fudge

Can you tell I love sweets! ;)

(Those Tigger Tails look yummy!)

Tigger Tails from the Hunny Pot :thumbsup2 (though I can only handle a couple of bites, they're so rich... so we share!)

DD5 with her first Tigger Tail:

I agree wholeheartedly about Tigger Tails, however, unlike you I am totally selfish when it comes to my Tigger Tails. This is one treat that Mommy refuses to share with anyone!

We also enjoy the mickey pretzels with cherry cokes, cherry frozen lemonade, frozen apple juice slushies, all of the skewers (but especially the sweet beef one--Banyan?), and rice krispy treats & churros (breakfast of champions)!

Can I ask where in the parks these two are? They sound delish!

I know there is a small stand in DCA in the Bugs Life area near the entrance of Heimlich ride. In Disneyland I think there is one near Big Thunder Mountain where the entrance of the Steam Boat ride is at.

I agree! Sooo yummmy! There are carts around that have different frozen drinks that they change from time to time...hopefully they have something yummy in april :)

Avalon, your little girl sure is cute! thank you for sharing such a nice picture, :) I only have cats! ;)

I love the peanut brittle that is made at Disneyland, it has the blue labels on the packaging, so if the label is brown, it was not made there, but rather was shipped in, most likely from Florida.

Chocolate caramel apples from Marcelines Confectionery at DTD.
along with their chocolate chunk cookie.
Remember to be on the look out for the hidden Mickey on their perfectly color themed for Halloween ( this is not specifically for Halloween, but rather, the colors and patterns are perfect for such) shopping bag.

Love the bacon wrapped asparagus skewer at the Bengal Barbecue.

Kettle corn

Pomme Frittes, which is especially delish with the remoulade that it is served with.

The Tortuga Trio of Creme Brulee

The Tesoro Island Chicken

The chocolate mint doubloons are really very tasty, they are from the Blue Bayou, and are made at Disneyland.
the popcorn at Disneyland, is also very tasty.

I got my frozen apple juice in Toontown and I was tempted to get one at the stand by the Orange Stinger in DCA.

My faves:
frozen apple j
Firehouse 105 (Main Street Cone Shop)
Dole float
corndogs
chocolate dipped strawberries
popcorn
churros
peanut brittle

blueberry crumble shake (San Andreas Shakes)
vanilla ice cream w/ bubble gum swirl (Catch a Flave)
3 Berries and a Banana smoothie (Smoozies)

OMG! forgot to add, chocolate croissants, and the orange juice is good too! :) I have not tried the chocolate dipped strawberries yet, but believe you me, I will on my next Disney adventure. :)

The rocky road fudge at Baker's Field Bakery in DCA. Churros was all my cousin wanted the last time we were there.

We ALWAYS have to stop at Redd Rockett's Pizza Port and have the Chicken Fusilli. It is delicious and very filling

my husband LOVES the corndogs from the corndog cart on main street. We always get one for lunch they are HUGE!

My favorite is the chocolate topped rice krispy treats from the bakery on Main street, the best rice krispy treats I've ever had, always grab one to take home.

My husband bought friters from a little food stop in new orleans square. Not exactly sure which place he bought them at since I was sitting with the kids but they were great!

ok what about the frozen slushys in the tink cup its pink i think apple watermellon..they were good they were over in a small stand by star tours ride it was up more not right there but at the end of that wak way they were so good and i loved my tink cup

I promised my mother (she is watching out pets) that we will bring her a tigger tail like we did during our last trip to DL. I thought a moment, and then said "No, we will bring you *2* Tigger Tails". She laughed and said that she was just going to tell me that one is not enough.

I loved my tigger tail. My son loved his chocolate covered strawberry. My husband is not much for sweets.

Next year (197 days to go until we leave!) I will be sure to get some caramel corn from the store on Main Street - I think it is the one with all of the penny presses or near it.

I totally regretted not getting some from that specific store last time. I got some, but I wanted THAT stores caramel corn. LOL.

We are leaving for DL (first time) on Friday. Been to WDW 22 times, and never thought the churros were that good. Are they different at DL?

Also need suggestion for best quick service lunch/dinner locations??
Thanks!

Bengal Barbeque is yum yum - they have the best ever fruit and yogurt parfaits and some delicious skewers

I love that big, messy cinnamon roll, along with a blended mocha, at Blue Ribbon Bakery.

oh man dont you just love those??? I rarely get it anymore because Im such a grouch in the morning and sometimes I just feel naseous and dont want to eat right away and then when I am hungry I want food:rotfl: and BRB has a huge line in it...maybe when I go in a few weeks I will get it again...

Hmm....

The Tortuga Trio of Creme Brulee

I  creme brulee...now its been a year or so since I had it but I was sooooooooo disappointed with the tortuga trio...it was sooooooooo bland and the only thing with flavor was the raspberry on top and the cookies they served with it:sad2:

ok what about the frozen slushys in the tink cup its pink i think apple watermellon..they were good they were over in a small stand by star tours ride it was up more not right there but at the end of that wak way they were so good and i loved my tink cup

the one thing about the slushees is that they dont always have the same flavors every time...its just like 7 11...I love the watermelon one and I hardly get the opportunity to get it because of that:headache: they also sell the slushees near the smoking area by matterhorn...DCA its over by Golden Dreams in SF area...
