What to wear to Ohana's?? :)

Any advice as to what to wear? My boyfriend really wants to dress "up" [and by that I mean he really wants me to wear a dress] and I'm not sure. Any advice?

A cute sundress? Since many people will be wearing shorts and sweaty t-shirts... :rotfl: But, I've seen people slightly dressy :)

we just wear what we have wore to the parks just not torn jeans or shorst and a nice tee shirt or blouse or sundress:dance3:

Last visit to Ohanas I wore a little sundress that had a tropical flair to it. I was comfortable but I kept getting complements from everyone. Just one note of advice. If you wear a sundress take a sweater. The A/C will turn you into an icicle.

i second that! it is FREEZING in there!! i vividly remember being uncomfortably cold!!

I personally like to get a bit more dressed up when going for dinner but that normally means a cute dress that i'm comfortable in and for DH its loose pants and a comfortable shirt. Plus after getting hot and sweaty its nice to put on some clean clothes before going out for dinner.

But if you don't have time to go back and change i have seen plenty people in shorts and T shirts in the restaurants, (never been to ohana but its on the list for this trip in oct)

We dressed up to go to Ohana last month. Fiance wore dark nice jeans and a button down shirt. I wore a skirt and blouse. You don't need to dress nicely, but I think it makes a night feel more special.

I think that anything goes, but if you are one of those people that find that being in the Polynesian, with that island theme and wearing the lei makes you want to feel the part - then I say GO FOR IT!!

You don't have to dress up. You can go in shorts and a ratty tee shirt. But you won't feel out of place if you do wear a dress or polo shirt for a guy or whatever. Wear whatever you feel is comfortable or sets the right mood for you two.

(Assuming you don't mind that mood being shattered by dozens of kids running around you, yelling excitedly, playing games, etc...)
